Priority Prayer Focus Oct 4, 2017
Major emphasis in most of the Israeli ministry letters over the past week is the focus on the Fall Feasts of the Lord in progress. There are several short teachings on the various Feasts as well as reports from some of the many conferences and gatherings going on during these feast days which draw Jews and Christians from the nations to participate. These Feasts are "appointed times" which God has set up to communicate to the Jews their nation's salvation through Yeshua (Jesus). That makes this a key moment for the spiritual eye-opening of many Jews in Israel and the nations. So please keep at the top of your prayers - not only for those about to be saved, but also for the believers of Israel who are witnesses to Yeshua the Messiah:
I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:17-18

Israel Pochtar begins this week with a report
on their Yom Kippur in Jerusalem at the All Nations Convocation, "where
close to a hundred nations have come together to pray together and praise God
in unison." Pochtar also gives a short review of the meaning of the
Sukkot, or Feast of Tabernacles which he notes is the prophetic future that is
also vividly described in Zechariah 14:9,16.
Pochtar speaks about the outreach event they
did last week, bringing in around 1,000 non-believers to a Biblical tour of the
Galilee going to the "Mountain Transfiguration, Village of Cana,
Capernaum, Sea of Galilee, etc. We walked in Yeshua's footsteps and got to show
people how His message comes alive through His word and the places where he
performed so many miracles and served the people. It's very powerful and people
are moved to tears when visiting those places while hearing the messages that
are recorded in the Bible that he taught in those specific spots." A large

The weekly ministry letter from Maoz
Ministries of Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram came out last week on the same day we
sent out our summary, which is their top story was the terrorist attack that

prepared on Wed, 10/4, we see an Israeli newspaper report that a 70-year old
Jewish man has suffered a violent death and been found in an industrial area
outside of Jerusalem in an Israeli-Arab area. This is the same kind of lead up
that started the war in Gaza a few years ago. Please pray and get prayer points

From the Hebrew congregation in Arad, a follow
up on their last report about the growing persecution of the Hassidei Gur
(ultra-orthodox sect) in Arad against the Messianics and seculars in town. "Standing
in the Day of Evil" speaks about how the persecution may have started with
them but it spread to engulf many in town.
They also refer to an article that appeared in Arutz Sheva which spun
their story with lies. I mention this specifically because so many Christians
follow Arutz Sheva news stories because it is a religious source which they
believe is 'safe'. Not so. It is most unreliable - especially with stories
related to the believers and followers of Yeshua. Please take note of this for

Eddie Santoro of the Ahavat Yeshua (Love of
Yeshua) congregation writes about a young waiter they have witnessed to before
coming to faith last week. This is a great testimony of how the Holy Spirit is
leading the believers in Israel to those hearts that have been prepared to receive.
Santoro also writes about several
gatherings he was attended in conjunction with the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShana)
that have included Arab churches and pastors - some with 600 in
attendance! Eddie writes, "...we
know that as the fellowship between Jew and Arab grows, the power and destiny

The Kerem-El congregation has big news from
their members, two of which took the top 2 places in the annual Messianic
Business Competition. In order for the body of Messiah in Israel as a whole to
grow and sustain themselves, their congregational members need to be able to
prosper in business. Due to persecution of the faith, this has not always been
easy which is why there is an organization that is encouraging Messianic
