Doesn't that phrase "Zion Align" grab you? It grabs me and I believe like these first entries this week that the season for the believers of the nations to "Zion Align" is in full swing! Let's pray that those in the churches who have not believed that Israel was any big deal to the God or to the Church in these days would begin to experience the same awakening we had to the truth, and that they would put the feet on their faith of aligning with the Body of the Yeshua in Israel.

Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem writes that we are in "A Season for Strengthening Ties" - something we have just seen take place in the United States with a new leader in our nation only one month. What a difference in the countenances of Israeli Prime Minister meeting with President Obama versus that in his meeting with President Trump. No matter the blah-blah reassures that are given publicly, there is no mistaking the genuine feelings of dealing with those who dislike you versus those who like you a lot. Nevertheless, President Trump faces a truly unprecedented battle, and from my point of view, it is more because of his commitment to be a friend to Israel and an enemy to Islamist supremacy. The devil is stirring up radical opposition to Trump on every front, so please keep praying for this strategically important alliance to be solid and not to be sabotaged.

But Israel is making outreach to strengthen ties in other nations too as Sarvis discusses inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries. We must not forget that even when we "Zion-aligned" believers are in a minority in our nation, that our prayers ascend to God and become multiplied when His answer returns to us on the earth. Our Zion alignment has great impact our nations Zion alignment!

This prayer list is dedicated to concentrating on the laborers in the Lord's harvest in Israel. We believe that as more and more come to faith in Israel, that we in the nations will also see more salvation come forth. The first shall be last, Yeshua said, but the apostle Paul speaking about the impact of Israel's salvation in the last days said, "For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?" Personally, I do not see that as meaning just the triggering of the Second Coming, but also that as Israel comes to faith in Yeshua, that it will trigger a wave of spiritual life all over the world among the peoples of the nations. As Paul followed that statement with this one: "If the first part of the dough is holy, so is the whole batch; if the root is holy, so are the branches.…" Things to mull in your spirit as you pray through the prayer requests from Israeli ministries featured here each week.

One prayer letter offers an exceptionally good report about being help to help recover a prodigal son they took in from streets of Tel Aviv a few months ago. Dov Bikas writes about a young man from a Messianic Russian family in northern Israel who they have been able to minister to at their Beer Sheva rehab. It is a really encouraging testimony related by the young man himself. You can read it inside the Weekly Summary attachment. Most of us who walk with the Lord know that prodigal sons happen in even the most faithful families. Please pray for all the prodigals in Israel, that God will give them the ability to recover their senses and come home to the genuine faith.

The Tel Aviv part of the ministry that Dov heads is now doing "night shifts" at the Aviv Center. Dov writes this was, "because the rainy season had begun in Israel and the people who live on the streets remain without shelter during cold nights. At first, we opened up once a week, then twice, and now we have night shifts four to five times a week. This became possible because new volunteers from Messianic congregations have joined us, all united by the same goal - to help needy people. We are happy Aviv Center is a place where Israeli believers can actively share their faith and serve the needy in many practical ways. At present nine volunteer teams work together in Aviv Center. This is about 45 people from different Israeli congregations and rehab centers. Please keep praying for this ministry." Israel Pochtar of the Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod writes this week about a new ministry they have launched for the hearing impaired and it is an outreach that many of the hearing impaired in the city and congregation have been made very glad by. They are also doing outreach with a team from Australia, hosting an Australia Night at the congregation that saw 72 non-believers come to take part in the event. Wow! A good time was had by all. There is one thing about the Beit Immanuel congregation in Jaffa: the come up with some dynamite ideas for bringing the generations together in greater understanding and appreciation of each other. You will want to read about this great idea of bringing the seniors together with the youth to take part in preparing a favorite family recipe together - something that happens rarely in our modern lifestyles. Avi Mizrachi of the Adonai Roi congregation & Dugit outreach wants to thank you for your prayers for his dad who is doing much better and getting back to his normal routine. New on their prayer list, however, is the flood that wrecked havoc on their VIP Prayer Room - a pipe leak they are encountering resistance in getting insurance & landlord help with. They would appreciate your prayers for quick resolution and repairs.

Richard and Carolyn Hyde are about to depart for London and Wales (Feb 23- Mar 7). They are requesting prayers for "divine appointments on the streets, calling Jewish people to make Aliyah and sharing Messiah with whomever we can. And we hope to reflect the love of G-d as we minister in churches. Praise the L-rd for a Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18 double anointing that breaks the yoke and sets the captives free!"

Sally Shiff in Kfar Saba is the liaison and intercessor for the Hamaayan congregation. She writes that the "prevailing theme" of the past 6 months of intercession "has been 'exposing corruption'. I prayed that in the national election of the US (God directed) and within 24 hours national corruption was exposed. Recently, our mayor here in Kfar Saba was arrested for corruption in our city (and 14 other officers). God is a righteous judge, and the people rejoice where there is a righteous standard coming from our leaders. God consistently impresses on me the responsibility of praying for our leaders, both in the government and congregation." Creating music to worship the Lord is the core of Kobi and Shani Ferguson's vision in the Israel Worship Initiative. The past year they have on "our shoe-string budget" completed two Hebrew albums and have four more albums in the works. Most weeks this prayer summary highlights the efforts of the Israeli ministries in developing the next generation of Israel's pastors, evangelists, teachers, preachers and prophets. From Revive Israel we have the part 2 of Daniel Juster's teaching, Approaching the Bible's Teaching on Healing: "So let us all pray for healing. Let us build our faith for it. When sickness comes, let us first go to God and pray and seek to receive faith for healing. Let's pray for healing as long as the person is living. However, let us recognize the sovereignty of God in these matters and embrace the whole Bible and its teaching in these matters..."

Orna Grinman, A Sign & An Example, has a new blog entry writing, "Tomorrow is the 15th day of the Jewish month Shvat. All over the country people will plant trees, upgrade their yards and gardens, eat fruits and enjoy the fact that we are once again established in our land, able to enjoy it, toil it and reap its fruit. From Avi & Chaya Mizrachi of the Adonai Roi congregation and Dugit, a prayer request for Avi's father, Nessim, who fell from his bed. He injured his head and face and lost a decent amount of blood. Fortunately, they were able to get him to the hospital in a timely manner. He has been released from the hospital is doing well. The Mizrachi family would greatly appreciate your prayers for his recovery and a full return of confidence. Nissim will be celebrating his 89th birthday next week!"

A real testimony of a great healing deliverance, Eddie and Jackie Santoro or the Ahavat Yeshua congregation, have been able to travel to the U.S. for the first time following the discovery a brain tumor in Eddie two years ago. They will be speaking near Clermont, Florida, as well as in New York (Albany, Kingston and Long Island). Ronit Bender has returned from her month in Perth, Australia with family visits and opportunities to speak in churches, prayer groups, ladies lunches, and Messianic fellowships. Ronit also writes that she shared at " a room in the centre of Perth by the train station where street people, drug addicts and prostitutes have to sit through a service, with worship and a message, before receiving a free dinner. When I got up to speak, a lot were asleep, because of the influence of drugs and alcohol. I clapped my hands and they woke up, and for 10 minutes they listened to a message about the love of the Father, and the power of a hug. Afterwards I offered them a holy hug, and found myself hugging many people. One or two got saved. A report came back that what touched their hearts most, was that we sat down with them and had a cup of tea, and looked them in the eyes. I love things like these. Beginning this week with Rachel and Gilad Netanel, whose gift of hospitality and evangelism has turned their Ein Karem home into a place sought out by many, many Jews from diverse backgrounds to experience worship, hear the word of God and to get their questions about the Messiah Yeshua answered. We are not sharing the great testimonies this month publically (you can access inside the Weekly Summary attachment) but Rachel writes, "Beloved friends, we are so very grateful that you are supporting and praying for this work. There are times when it is not easy to be encouraged when people reject the Lord, but I know that your prayers are sustaining us and that we will not stop sharing the Gospel as long as we live. From Eric Benson of the House of Victory rehab ministry connected to the Carmel Congregation in northern Israel, a report on the national gathering of leaders who are working with the homeless and those bound with life controlling addiction that was recently held in the city of Tel Aviv. "It was a time of fellowship, prayer and hearing the Word of God together. As we spent the day together, we imparted strength and wisdom to one another. Truly we were mutually edified by one another's faith. As we shared testimonies and reports together of how the Lord is moving in the various ministries, our passion and vision was renewed. We reminded each other that the Spirit of the Lord God is upon us to preach the Gospel to the poor (Is. 61:1). Our labor of love (Thess. 1:3) is pleasing unto the Lord. There was a sense that the Lord was saying unto us, "These are my beloved children in whom I am well pleased."

Whether in your local area churches, or in Israel, I think we all know that this is one of the least "glamorous" ministries that exists. These are the people that society has turned a blind eye to and because of their sins, even many believers cut off compassion towards this particular type of ministry. This is not usually one of the outreaches that fire people up to give, and the ministry itself is hard, often heart rending. Exactly those that Jude 1:22-23 tells us, " And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh."

Please lift up the House of Victory and all these laborers in this ministry to those on their last leg. The Karen-El (God's Vineyard) congregation is a daughter of the Carmel Congregation on Mt Carmel and a fairly young congregation. in fact, Pastor Sayag starts this month with their first congregational yearly report meeting. Richard and Carolyn Hyde share that the "school ministry in Germany was beyond anything we've ever seen. A new teacher invited us to come and minister in his class, but he said afterwards, he honestly didn't expect anything to happen. But when he saw about 70% of his class pray to receive Yeshua, he was amazed and in awe of the responsibility to disciple the new believers." If that is not a good word, I don't know what is! We hear so much negative news as Islam seems to have overrun Germany and much of Europe, so it is truly wonderful to see how the Lord is moving among the young, school aged Germans.

The Yuval Messianic Worship Center for Music and the Arts gives a great report on their "Women of Worship" Seminar held December 23rd. They had about fifty women from across Israel attend and "Each of the women was so blessed and we received many requests to bring this seminar to different parts of the country. Our prayer and desire is to continue Women of Worship Seminars, focusing on a new facet of worship each time. Coming up soon… The next worship night is February 15th, and preparations are already underway with the youth leadership team meeting every week to pray and plan. The subject this time is “The Fear of the Lord”. Please agree with us for His will to be established in heaven and earth and in the lives of these precious youth. Ron Cantor writes about Overcoming the MY MINISTRY Mentality | A Call for Team Ministry. "We don’t see this concept of 'my ministry' in the Bible. The only time it is used is when Paul says, “I magnify my ministry” in his efforts to win Jewish people to Yeshua. He is hardly exalting himself in an egocentric way; Paul was the ultimate team player. He begins his ministry serving Barnabas and the other leaders in Antioch. Then he is sent out as a junior apostle with Barnabas. As the grace of God grows upon him, he becomes the team leader with Barnabas and John Mark. Later, we see Paul with Silas, Timothy and Titus." It's been a while since we heard from Lura and Eddie Beckford in Arad (not counting on Facebook). Lura reports that she is experiencing a strong urge to get to the U.S. in a few weeks in order to see her kids and family. There are some challenges that need to be overcome and also a need for some speaking engagements in the Pennsylvania and Baltimore areas while she is there. This week Jews around the world will be hearing Exodus 13:17—17:16 read in their Synagogues. It is an incredible passage, beginning with YHVH’s mighty deliverance of Israel from Pharaoh’s army through the Red Sea, continuing with one of the great prophetic songs in the Bible, and concluding with victory over the Amalekites in their first major battle on the road towards Canaan. This week, rather than leading with our usual prayer points regarding “current events” in or related to Israel, we sensed the Lord would draw our focus to a vital principle of spiritual warfare to found in both the beginning and ending of this famous passage. We pray the following teaching may be used by the Holy Spirit to encourage us as we cover—and value—the “positionings” our Captain entrusts to each of us. And the battle is the LORD’s!

A CRITICAL front in the spiritual battle that we currently face in the world revolves around the strong rise of Lies and Deception coming against the people of God and the righteous paths. It has a "bully pulpit" as the media (prophets) and many governments internationally (kings of the earth) follow godless agendas. We have to discern what is the reality in the midst of widely believed and proclaimed lies and deceptions. The only way we can see through the lies is to be personally free of these sins.

"Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue." Psalms 120:2

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts…false witness…These are the things which defile a man:" Matthew 15:19

"The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth:" Zephaniah 3:13

See From Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel and Voice of Judah Ministries in Ashdod, an update on the congregational 21 Days of Prayer they do twice a year as a congregation "praying for our community, for people's needs, salvation, revival." They are also praying, and asking for your prayers, for their new congregational building to raise the remaining funds needed to initiate renovations and get the permits in place. Pochtar writes, "We really need the Lord's provision as we are still quite behind on the amount needed to start."

Ruth Nessim, who courageously carried on the work of the ministry that she was in before her husband passed into eternity ten years ago, wrote that her family gathered for the 10 year remembrance of Albert's passing. Several of their children are also carrying on the spiritual ministry heritage. Ruth also tells of her journey with Najeeb and Elizabeth out of the country to minister to Syrian refugees. Ruth's prayer list includes increased support funds for their Nahariya congregation, prayers for an outpouring of God Spirit in Nahariya, as well as ministry to Jews and Arabs that she has been doing personally over many years. Last week we heard from Ruth that she was now blind in one eye but her blood tests for cancer indicate she is still free from the disease. Is you are thinking you need to retire from ministry, I would invite you to begin reading Ruth's prayer letters. You will be inspired to continue on.

Ben Juster, who is the Operations Director for Tikkun International (Tikkun means Restoration), send us a monthly update and prayer list for the various ministries who are covenanted together under the Tikkun umbrella. The group was founded by Dan Juster, Asher Intrater and Eitan Shishkoff, with Paul Wilbur and David Rudolph among the most senior heads. Their focus - to be in covenanted relationship with each other, their associated ministries and to raise up future generations of spiritual leadership within their ranks. That is my summary, although I'm sure they would spell it out for themselves much better, this is just to give you an idea that it is an apostolic organization of Israeli ministries who are connecting with counterparts in the US, and with international ministries.

This month Juster relates an impactful message delivered at the ICEJ pastor's conference in Jerusalem by Juergen Buehler on Psalm 46. "Juergen established a symbolic connection of the uprooted mountains to the long-standing Judeo-Christian standards within the Body of believers that are being uprooted and cast off with brazen ferocity. Think about the mountains, that many generations before didn't even need to focus on because they were just simply there - immovable. The mountain of the institution of marriage being the union between a man and a woman, a covenant relationship that would last until death. The mountain of gender identity and the clarity of defining the sexes. The mountain of the sanctity of life, and the protection of the unborn and defenseless. The mountain of a clarity of good and evil ... a general conception and agreement about moral standards. We could go on and on."

I have heard Ben's father, Daniel Juster say before that the "7 Mountains" teaching is one that the three Tikkun Founders have been teaching for decades, however the language was different. As you might imagine, it all comes back to the roots of faith with God imparted to the Jewish people. Two of Tikkun's prayer requests: 1. Pray for the upcoming meetings between newly elected President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu and other members of Knesset. Pray for clarity and wisdom for how to strengthen and expand this important alliance. 2. Emerging Leaders Gathering. Tikkun America will be hosting 40 emerging leaders, both men and women, next month for relationship development, worship, inspirational training, and testimony.

We have an update on Carmel Congregation's founding pastor, David Davis, whose general conditioned has worsened since the December update. Karen writes that he is so weak he must use a wheelchair to move around in their apartment, and the PET CT David had on Dec 25 shows a very small growth in the same neck area as was treated last year. It is not clear to their Mexico or Israeli oncologist is this new tumor full accounts for his weakening condition and they are seeking counsel from other specialists. The HaTikvah Project which is run by Evan Levine in Jerusalem is one that we really like to encourage support of because while it helps the needy Israelis who do not believe in Yeshua, it also helps the needy followers of Yeshua in Israel. From a Facebook post today, we picked up this praise report from HaTikvah: In January we performed 317 dental treatments for the needy in the name of Yeshua; opened our clinic an additional day every week and added a new dental hygienist to our clinic staff to keep up with the demand. This crazy, God-idea is working! We want to open more clinics but we need a few more partners. Are you one of them?

Eddie Santoro shared a favorite family story about his birth on 1/27/49 - did you know Eddie was a twin? He is rejoicing to be healed of the brain cancer and continuing to walk out God's purposes for him in life. eddie also writes about "a most welcome, fresh wave of confidence and optimism. Israelis feel once again as if they have a friend in the White House. ... Please join us in praying daily for the wisdom of God to lead President Trump. Pray that he will come into a living knowledge of Yeshua and that his support of this nation will continue unwaveringly."

Eddie also reports on "The Promised Land" and "Signs and Wonders" where "Multitudes of Muslims are going to throw down their demonic faith for the revelation of the love of God and His Son, Yeshua. Yet another birthday to celebrate as Howard Bass turned 67 and is now a "card carrying" senior citizen in Israel. :-) Howard, who just had a hand operation has run into some complications as doctors are guarding over infection potential verses occupational therapists wanting exercise to regain full fucntion. Praying the Headlines

Martin Savis in Jerusalem catches us up on two headline stories in Israel, David's Sling, the joint Israeli/US missile defense system nearing completion; and the story of how a bad bus crash in the Samarian hills, saw a Palestinian family who lived nearby rush to report the accident and be the first to render aid. Because this area is one that Arabs and Jews fight over, many were surprised at the Arab family responding in their pajamas to save survivors in the horrible crash.
