Opening with bad, but expected news that Israel's borders are heating up once again. Katy Smith writes for the Maoz Ministries of Ari & Shira Sorko-Ram that as the Passover holiday is coming that usually terror cells are trying to execute large-scale attacks against Israelis and Judea and Samaria (West Bank) settlers.  There are also reports that the missiles in Gaza have been upgraded, so prayer is urged for God's protection over all Israel.  Katy writes, "I can't possibly stress enough how much we need and value your prayers!"

One special request from Maoz is for a recent widow with two children who have received deportation orders after the husband died just 2 weeks ago. Because he was known to be a believer, the Ministry of Interior has mercilessly ordered the widow and her children out of the country. Please pray for this family, and pray also that there would be a shift of power that has the extreme anti-Messianic ultra-Orthodox in charge of citizenship and residency issues.

Inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries is also an opportunity offered to take part in the establishing the worship recording studio of the Sorko-Ram's daughter and son-in-law, Kobi and Shani Ferguson, Israel Worship Initiative. (They have raised $40,000 of the $70,000 needed).

Eddie and Jackie Santoro, apostolic elders of the Ahavat Yeshua congregation in Jerusalem, have just returned from their first return visit to the U.S. after two long years as Eddie staved off cancer - truly a miraculous deliverance from a brain tumor and then later an unrelated cancer in this throat. We are waiting results from his latest MRI - so keep praying that God will continue to keep him cancer free and healthy.

The Santoro's write about their "Third Season" group from the congregation which meets regularly along with invited guests. This meeting was held at the unique and historic home of Rachel and Gilad Netanel (see their ministry report in this issue also) for a great time of fellowship, including long conversations with as yet un-saved Israelis. They write, "Please keep praying for these special times of fellowship. They really are becoming an outreach to the unsaved and a bond of love is being established between the participants. It seems to be the perfect format for this age group. We'll be doing it again in another 6 weeks."  They also write about their natural style of evangelism in Israel, which you can read about inside the Weekly Summary attachment

Israel Pochtar in the Ashdod, Beit Hallel congregation, gives a glowing report of their recent youth conference for teens all across southern Israel, writing, "It was such a powerful time of worship, prayer, fellowship and teachings. We spoke about the importance of drawing closer to God, finding their future in the Lord, entering into their God-given destiny regardless of whether they find their place in ministry or the market place. We gave the tools and showed how they can serve God in many different ways."

Pochtar also gives the follow up report on their Purim Outreach and the Evangelism Outreach tour, which he writes was not only many of the recent immigrants' first tour of Israel, but also first tour with a messianic team that gave them the opportunity to see the country and hear the Gospel Read about it inside the Weekly Summary attachment

The elders of the Hasdey Yeshua (Mercy of Yeshua) congregation in Arad report a breakthrough and a potential breakthrough on two of the top prayer needs we have been praying with them about over a long time. The first on the warehouse where they will share with another ministry for a food distribution center, and also for housing their children's ministry activities.  The potential breakthrough comes in the arena of a facility for their congregation.  You may remember that it is been difficult for them to meet in Arad due to great religious opposition applied to landlords.  For a very long time they have been meeting in the outdoors outside of the city, but as you can imagine those are not ideal circumstances. Please read this ministry letter inside the Weekly Summary attachment where they share details and also update us on the Bedouin believer, Hussain, who had to flee Arad last month because of death threats from his older brother over his faith in Yeshua.  See the prayer requests attached to all these things.

Rachel and Gilad Netanel, as Eddie Santoro wrote in his ministry letter this week, live in a "very unique house which is located in the historic Ein Kerem section of Jerusalem. According to Rachel, the house is at least 800 years old!" Rachel explains in her ministry letter that Ein Karem "is thought to be the village of John the Baptist." She recently told a group of touring Jews, "about the vision I had to build this house in a style that would be similar to the times of Yeshua and about how I share the Word of God here in the meeting room of the cave."  They stayed and listened more, maybe because she had already told them " them that I come from the family of Rabbi Kabbetz (He is a famous rabbi who wrote the Jewish sedur—prayer book). Their eyes opened wide at this and said what a privilege it is to meet me. This is such an honor to meet a close descendant of this great rabbi."  She told them the real honor was having received revelation that Yeshua is the Messiah."

Do the testimonies this week of how the believers in Israel are reaching out to their countrymen strike you the way they strike me? It is like reading from the pages of the Acts of Apostles - evangelism that so natural and organic. This is why many people can go to Israel "to witness to Jews" but they return disappointed. Because there is (as a general rule) an anointing to reach the Jewish people that rests on the Jewish believers in Yeshua.  Paul understood it, as he wrote to the Galatians (2:8) For God, who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles. This is yet another reason why we pray for and support Israeli ministries.

Rachel also shares a prayer request for a family member which I will not share in this gleaning which is published online at Arrows from Zion, but you can read it inside the Weekly Summary attachment

From Revive Israel, an ARTICLE Three Priesthoods by Asher Intrater and he also teaches in this VIDEO Praying for the Jewish people | Asher shares on the importance and the result of when we pray for the salvation of the Jewish people.  Moti Cohen who pastors the Tiferet Yeshua congregation in Tel Aviv writes a short report on what is happening there, and Cody and Andrew have a report via VIDEO Revive Israel Japan Tour 2017

From the Beer Sheva Yeshua's Inheritance congregation, Howard Bass starts out speaking about Bible study he is currently attending on the end-times and what are the signs. He writes of the study, "It is very illuminating, especially as the Body of Messiah is awaking to the times in which we live, and as the Holy Spirit continues to lead us into all the truth as we need it." In his congregation he is teaching on Isaiah, which also has the prophet looking into the end times, "... the conditions and circumstances in Isaiah's time are similar to what we have today; and God's thoughts and ways concerning these things as it relates to His people and His covenantal purposes have not changed."

Howard also shares about a ministry in Jericho they visited recently which is operated by a former Muslim who was active in the PLO. Now he is a planter of Seeds of Hope for Yeshua and Bass encourages us to look them up on the web. A Jerusalem Post article about them is here, From Enemy to Peace Maker.

Howard also seeds news of Cyprien, the Rwandan refugee he has written about in the past; the congregational plans for Passover which they will also to a special event with the Russian-speaking congregation led by Dov Bikas on Sunday April 15. And he freely offers the Passover Haggadah ("telling"), and it is available in four languages -- English, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish.  that he wrote.

Evan Levine of the HaTikva Project is helping the poor which advancing the kingdom. Isn't that what Yeshua called us all to?  Inside the Weekly Summary attachment               , Evan relates the situation of a young man they recently helped named Mati.  It is an uplifting testimony of how God is using this ministry.

Martin Sarvis writes that a Call is going out throughout the world for Israel to Know, Recognize & Love her Redeemer. Focusing on the Haftarah of this week, Isaiah 43:21—44:23, Martin walks us through it - "To focus for our prayers for Israel on this particular passage of Scripture—and on the 'soil' into which the seeds of this Scripture will be scattered!" Praying the Headlines

DDIORIO: Over several months recently, the U.S. Jewish community was being terrorized by bomb threat calls across the country to Jewish Community Centers and other places where Jews frequent. Many Liberal Jews, including in the media, pointed a finger of blame at President Trump stirring up white racist anti-Semites. Then last week came the surprise announcement that a 19-year old in Ashkelon, Israel with dual US-Israeli citizenship had been arrested for threats in the mostly the US, but also in  Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The complex, technologically advanced methods he used over six months shielded him from being identified and caught, until he made one mistake that led to his unveiling.

We may not be able to fathom what would motivate an young Jewish man in Israel to do such a thing, but unfortunately there are many of these individuals in the world today with the expertise to torment people far away from the safety of their own homes. With the announcement of his arrest by Israel, immediately came the claims by his lawyer that he has a nonmalignant brain tumor. That cannot explain away the evil genius behind this young man's terrorizing Jews in the US and contributing to false accusations against the followers of the US President.  I am not surprised that all those who were raising Cain about the "anti-Semitic" bomb threats have fallen completely silent over the development that an Israeli-American Jew was arrested for the cybercrime, but I want to know why this man did such a thing. I doubt it will be a major story but it is one worth keeping on top of.

Teaching Articles

3/24/17 Guy Cohen  in Akko
Katzir Asher, The Harvest of Asher Congregation

A Word to the Prophet | Guy Cohen, Harvest of Asher in Acco | During the time that the Kingdom of Israel was split into two houses, the house of Jeroboam and the house of Rehoboam; King Jeroboam was offering sacrifices and burning incense to idols on the altar in the city of Bethel.

In 1 Kings 13 we read that a man of God was sent from Judah to Bethel by God to prophesy against the altar and to give the sign which the Lord had spoken. When Jeroboam stretched out his hand to have the man of God arrested, his hand withered and all that had been spoken against the altar took place. The King then asked the man of God to pray for him and ask for God's favor to restore his hand. And so it was restored and the King then invited the man of God to come to his home.

However, the man of God told the king that he was commanded by the word of the Lord not to eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way which he had come. How is it possible that at the end of the chapter this same man of God was killed by a lion and his body thrown on the side of the road? How could it be on the one hand that God worked such a mighty victory through him and on the other hand his life would end this way?

The reason is that the man of God didn't follow God's command till the end. A prophet who heard how God had worked through this man of God in Bethel, went out to find him. The prophet found him under an oak tree and also invited him to come and eat. Even though only a short time before the man of God's response to the King was no, he agreed.

I believe I Kings 13:18 is the key, I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, 'Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'

The man of God received what the prophet told him even though it was contrary to what God had ordered him and which up until then he had obeyed. What made the man of God think that it was okay now? I believe it was due to the respect he had for this prophet. Possibly this prophet was well known during that time in the area. Obeying what the prophet told him, led to the man of God's death.

When the prophet learned of the man of God's death he went out, brought back his body, buried him and mourned. He then told his sons, "When I am dead bury me in the tomb where the man of God is buried.... Why would he behave this way? Did he feel guilty or could it be that he was covering his tracks?

In the body of Messiah, thanks to the Holy Spirit, we experience and operate in many gifts. Are these gifts being used for building each other up or are we killing each other with them because either way we continue to carry the gifts with us. Just as a father in the natural doesn't take back a gift he's given to his child, neither does our Father in heaven.

The issue is how are we using these gifts. If we are using them out of bitterness, jealousy, lying, building ourselves up or making a name for ourselves, they can bring death to our families, neighbors or anyone near us putting a guilt so heavy on us to even bring us to the point of death.

We must continually sanctify the gifts to the Father, looking to Yeshua and being guided by the Holy Spirit, so that they may be used to bring life and not death.

This week Carolyn & Richard Hyde's ministry letter did what is called in the news business  "burying the lede".
Their section on a spiritual battle for several members of their family (including them) for their Israeli citizenship was buried in the  lower half of their ministry letter.

I have re-positioned it to the forefront, because it is one of the foremost intercessory battles we have identified over the past 16 years for subscribers to this prayer summary. This is a battle many believer- ministries in Israel currently face, have faced, continue to face, or are well aware that they could face at any time. The faith of Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus is most opposed by a powerful and highly motivated group of religious Jews. This animosity also affects Messianic believers who desire to make aliyah to Israel, to return to their ancient homeland.  The Interior Ministry wages a deep spying campaign worldwide to make sure they are not able to return if they believe in Yeshua.

This is the priority prayer request of the week: Let God to arise and the enemies of His Word to be scattered. Psalm 68:1  No weapon formed these shall prosper and every tongue that rises in accusation against you, you shall condemn.  Isaiah 54:17  Truly He is my Rock and my Salvation (Yesha); He is my Fortress, I will not be moved. Psalm 62:6
________________

In the words of Richard and Carolyn Hyde of the Heart of God Ministry:  Battle for Citizenship The Ministry of Interior, MOI, is run by the ultra-Orthodox party, Shas, which has a strong hatred of believers in Yeshua.  When a Gentile marries an Israeli Jew, they are entitled to full rights and benefits but our son Ariel's wife, Shayla, has been refused citizenship for 7 years and now has received an ultimatum that she must leave Israel permanently by the end of June, 2017.  We believe this has happened because of the Isaiah 53 video and how the Gospel has gone out in this precious couple's lives.  In fact the Ministry of Interior also told Ariel that they are planning to remove our citizenship as well (Richard and Carolyn).  Would you please pray with us, even daily, that the L-rd's will would be accomplished and that we would prevail.  The battle belongs to the L-rd!

Please read more about the ministry in Israel and in international locations of Carolyn and Richard inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries

From Revive Israel, last week we published Asher Intrater's article, Wealth of the Gentiles and Feet of the Apostles.  This week Revive Israel sends from Lou Engle, A Response to "Wealth of the Gentiles" | There is also a VIDEO A Time & Place | Asher Intrater shares on the importance of  timing and geography throughout history and the end times.  Mati Cohen of the Tiferet Yeshua congregation in Tel Aviv gives a short report on the increasing "Faith in Tel Aviv" inside the Weekly Summary attachment

From the Intercessors for Israel in Jerusalem, Ofer Amitai, Eliyahu Ben-Haim and Chuck Cohen, we have two prayer excerpts concerning Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife Sara who are "subject to relentless pressure from the media and the legal system determined to investigate every possible abuse of their public position."  Sound familiar, Americans? See their prayer points on this issue, and also on how Russia is continuing to expand its influence in the Middle East and its potential impact on Israel" inside the Weekly Summary attachment

One thing I would like to point out about the IFI prayer points regarding their Prime Minister and his wife is that while they readily see is the 'witch hunt' that the media and legal system is on regarding the Netanyahu's, they also pray with an objectivity that is sorely missing from news media these days. One of the prayer points is "Let the truth be revealed – expose any corruption in these cases, Lord!"   I point this out because while it is the job of the news media to operate with objectivity and they have sorely abandoned that approach, it is imperative that the intercessors of God do pray with a high level of objectivity. We don't know what God knows, and our position is not to pray that abuse is covered, but that abuse be exposed - even if it being done by those we adore or admire. An excellent example of the position we should hold in intercessory prayer for our leaders, and indeed in all cases.

From Jerusalem Martin Sarvis provides us an excellent and insightful report on the Prime Minister's visit to China - but even more so how the spiritual exchange between Israeli and Chinese believers is one of the most significant developments of the last few years.  Sarvis writes in "To and From "the land of Sinim:  As we see gateways widening between Israel and China in the area of governmental and economic relations, we are aware also of passageways which the Holy Spirit has been opening and networking between believers within the two countries! This is a report packed with spiritual information and you will want to carefully review the prayer points listed inside the Weekly Summary attachment

From the  Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod, Israel Pochtar is preparing for ministry to the needy Israelis in his area during the upcoming Passover season.  He shares how much you can help with specific amounts - $17 and $41 will go a long way to bless Jewish immigrants, Holocaust survivors, and underprivileged Israelis with a Passover. Details inside the Weekly Summary attachment

Listen, in the United States before every Jewish holiday we are bombarded by TV commercials from Rabbi Eckstein and his International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Let me be plain: DON'T give to help Israelis through him!  The rabbi lives like a millionaire on those donations, and Jesus is NOT lifted up to the Israeli people in the process.  You need to be good stewards over your donations to Israel and almost every ministry we feature in this prayer summary are helping the needy in the name of Yeshua.  They don't buy expensive TV commercial time to ask for your donations like Rabbi Eckstein who gives 'no spiritual bang for your buck.'  Get contact and donation information for all ministries we feature inside the Weekly Summary attachment

Sally Shiff who is the liaison for the HaMaayan congregation in Kfar Saba writes about some new beginnings that are unfolding in their congregation even as spring begins to break there. One is the new guest house for friends of the HaMaayan ministry which is located right next door to her. The guest house is for rent and for housing the volunteers and interns who come to be with them in Kfar Saba. Read more of what's happening with Sally and the congregation led by Tony Sperandeo, plus prayer requests

Watch this video from the HaTikva Project as they are scouting a location in Haifa for a second dental clinic they have set their sites on opening after the hugely successful clinic in Jerusalem. This is a great opportunity to bless the Body of Messiah in Israel with discounted dental services and to do the same in outreach to all Israelis. They operate as an openly Messianic business with many referrals from theJerusalem municipality.  In fact recently, Evan Levine posted this notice put out by the Jerusalem municipality:

"PAY ATTENTION - THIS CLINIC IS RUN BY MESSIANIC JEWS"  That’s what it says at the bottom of this document in bold. It’s the official announcement about our dental clinic that went out through Jerusalem’s City Hall. The rest of the document talks about the different services we offer the needy and how they will benefit from coming to our clinic. Let’s just say, they are paying attention, and they are coming by the hundreds! Meeting a need, with excellence, in the name of Yeshua. www.hatikvaproject.org

Praying the Headlines

Calev Myers  & the Attorneys of the Jerusalem Institute of Justice
Flavia Sevald & The JIJ Team: We are very excited to share with you a major international accomplishment. On March 6th, Calev Michael met with Chief International Criminal Court Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda in The Hague and presented JIJ’s communication for investigation of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh for war crimes he committed during the 2014 Gaza War. Haniyeh is accused of using Palestinian civilians as human shields, firing rockets from crowded population centers, frequently encouraging civilians to remain in areas that constitute potential attack targets for the IDF and storing rockets in schools and hospitals. We want to thank all of our interns that have worked on this project for the past 8 months; researching, writing, reviewing and editing, without them it would not have been possible. Our motion to the ICC has already been reported by outlets such as Israel HaYom and Middle East Eye, the links are below.

Look forward to updates on two of our new initiatives. We have begun circulating a memorandum for signatures ahead of the election of 15 new countries to the UN Human Rights Council. This will be presented to the UN General Assembly who will elect the Council’s new delegates, and calls upon them to elect countries with better human rights records than Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. And you will soon be able to read our comparative study on WWII Refugees and the Palestinian Refugee Crisis.

Thank you again for your ongoing support of JIJ and our efforts to safeguard human rights and religious freedom in Israel and the surrounding regions.

WEEKLY Arrows from Zion 3/15/2017

Priority Prayer Focus Mar 15, 2017

For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world,
what will their acceptance be but life from the dead
[ to the world ]? Romans 11:15

Arrows from Zion
Strategically Aimed for the Lord’s Harvest in Israel
Contact info for all the ministries included inside the subscription-only Weekly Summary.

In the early 1990's I (Donna) had a series of revelations about the contributions that the apostle Paul gathered over a several year period and which he was determined to take and lay at the feet of the apostles in Jerusalem by the feast of Shavuot, or Pentecost. Even knowing he would be imprisoned in chains if he went to Jerusalem, I believe the Apostle Paul was so determined because he was a prophetic model of the giving from Christians in the nations that would in the end come to pass during the prophesied season that "all Israel" would be saved ...and which will create a ripple effect of "life from the dead" (salvations) in all the nations.

As Paul wrote to the Corinthians in encouraging them to collect this donation to the apostles in Jerusalem for the ministry there, "For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem.  It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors.  For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things."

To the apostle Paul this was not about mere humanitarian outreach to the poor, it was about funding the ministry within Israel.  Remember - none of them in the first century expect that it would be a couple of thousand years before the prophetic events just prior to the return of Messiah would take place.  The contribution "for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem" is speaking in the relative terms of ministry funding, not merely meeting the material needs but the greater purpose of assisting them to share the spiritual provisions in Israel.

None of the first century apostles saw more clearly than the apostle Paul what God has purposed in the season of Israel's ultimate salvation, and how our contribution to that ministry will trigger a great harvest among the nations.  It is written throughout Paul's letters for those God gives eyes to see, which is one of the reasons that I delighted in this article by Asher Intrater received this week, Wealth of the Gentiles and Feet of the Apostles.  I believe it communicates the necessary understanding of both the integrity required, and the soberness of the responsibility to stand wisely in these prophetic places.

Asher writes, "There is a great danger in this outpouring of financial blessing.  Those who receive it must act in strict integrity, even personal austerity, while at the same time being aggressively generous to use the finances to advance the kingdom of God."  Read more!

Israel has just had several days of celebration of the Purim holiday which is a prophetic picture of the Church in the nations in the figure of Esther, interceding - not just in prayer but in life-threatening action - to save the Jews from the murderous scheming of Haman.  Howard Bass of the Yeshua's Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva writes about the book of Esther and the applications of it in Israel's modern times.

Howard also gives us an update on their wounded soldier, David, and the young believer ladies who were so seriously injured in a terrible car accident. He writes that the driver is still in serious condition but her parents have come to faith in Yeshua through seeing all the love from other believers towards their daughter!

Bass shares a little of the history of the Jaffa Gate Christ Church which their teens & soldiers visited recently on a historical tour. He also shares that their son Tal is finished his military service and about to start his pre-college exams.  They ask you to keep Tal in your prayers.

News from Ben Juster who is the operations director for Tikkun International, first up is the news that his mom, Patti Juster will be having a heart valve replacement surgery in the next couple of months. Read more inside the Weekly Summary attachment        Some of the prayer requests for the Tikkun Ministries this month are for the renovation of the Tel Aviv Tiferet Yeshua congregation; for the new elder candidate in the Love of Yeshua congregation in Jerusalem; for the Tikkun Board meetings upcoming March 19-22.  "As part of these meetings, the Revive Israel leaders, Tents of Mercy leaders, and leaders from local congregations will be meeting together for relationship strengthening, strategy, and a practical implementation plan for what is discussed.  Please pray for these critical meetings."

The Maoz Ministry weekly prayer letter is written by Katy Smith representing Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram. First off Katy asks for prayers for rain. "The Sea of Galilee's level is at an all-time low, possibly endangering surrounding aquifers.  Though Israel no longer relies on the water from the Kinneret as the only drinking source, it is vital that it maintains water levels above the 'bottom red line.' Please PRAY that the next two months of the rainy season will bring the desperately-needed precipitation to northern Israel, where the farmers are trying to save this year's crops."

Secondly Katy writes about a special recognition celebration for Dr David Stern as they prepare next week to release a Hebrew version of his Hebrew New Testament Commentary. "Dr. David Stern is known for his scholarly knowledge of the Bible and maybe especially for his Hebrew New Testament Commentary, which is a uniquely comprehensive guide used by pastors and leaders around the world.
This translation by the Maoz book department has been a work in progress for the last four years and to mark this accomplishment, "Maoz is organizing a special Evening of Recognition, celebrating both Dr. Stern's impact on the body of believers worldwide and the launch of his book in Hebrew."  For more news from Maoz inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries

In Haifa the Immanuel Book Shop and church is the ministry of Pastor Najeeb and Elizabeth Atteih, who also do Syrian refugee ministry and have a ministry to the Christian Arab soldiers in the IDF. You can read inside the Weekly Summary attachment how they are trying to update the resources in their Bible book shop where all sorts of people drop in to talk and seek materials, including muslims and orthodox Jews.

Currently their Christian solder's ministry is helping 25 soldiers consistently and a few other soldiers occasionally. The majority of these soldiers come from broken homes and are facing many difficult situations in their lives. Many of them are lacking people in their lives who can listen to them, love them, hug them, give them spiritual guidance, or support them.  Ruth, who writes these prayer letters for Najeeb and Elizabeth asks, "Please pray for Najeeb and Elizabeth as they carry great burdens on their shoulders, and need God’s strength day by day as they carry on their work."  Read more inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries

We have news also from the HaMaayan (Wellspring) congregation in Kfar Saba, thanks to Sally Shiff who sends their prayer letters out. Of course they have been observing Purim, as they do all the feasts of Israel. Sally shares about a recent congregational field trip in the Judean Hills where they visited many historic biblical sites together.  They also dedicated a new questhouse where volunteers who come to assist the congregation will be able to stay while interning or volunteering at the congregation. See more details on that and the next Taglit Hamaayan program in English that starts May 26-June 4.  It is a time of touring, training, intercession& celebrating God’s purposes and promises for Israel. Contact details inside the Weekly Summary attachment

Fresh (and refreshed) back from New Zealand, Evan and Maala Thomas have returned to Israel to take up senior pastoral role at Beit Hallel congregation in Netanya.  First, Evan and fellow pastor Lev joined with 37 pastoral colleagues for a 2-day retreat together in the Negev.  From there, they began the congregational festivites surrounding the Purim.  At the end of the month, Evan and Maala witll be in Hong Kong for 5 days of intensive networking together with Swiss colleagues of an Israeli/ Swiss organization, “BeYachad”.  You can read more about the vision they have for the strategic ministry partners they are in relationship with inside the Weekly Summary attachment.

One other prayer request they mention several times is for the health of many among them who have been suffering chronic respiratory illnesses after a hard winter in Israel. (We have been seeing much of the same in Texas and among our Facebook friends, so suspect this is a priority prayer to raise up for all of us in the body of the Lord - that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and healing will flow and poor health be returned to well being.)
