This week Carolyn & Richard Hyde's ministry letter did what is called in the news business "burying the lede". Their section on a spiritual battle for several members of their family (including them) for their Israeli citizenship was buried in the lower half of their ministry letter.

I have re-positioned it to the forefront, because it is one of the foremost intercessory battles we have identified over the past 16 years for subscribers to this prayer summary. This is a battle many believer- ministries in Israel currently face, have faced, continue to face, or are well aware that they could face at any time. The faith of Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus is most opposed by a powerful and highly motivated group of religious Jews. This animosity also affects Messianic believers who desire to make aliyah to Israel, to return to their ancient homeland. The Interior Ministry wages a deep spying campaign worldwide to make sure they are not able to return if they believe in Yeshua.

This is the priority prayer request of the week: Let God to arise and the enemies of His Word to be scattered. Psalm 68:1 No weapon formed these shall prosper and every tongue that rises in accusation against you, you shall condemn. In the words of Richard and Carolyn Hyde of the Heart of God Ministry: Battle for Citizenship The Ministry of Interior, MOI, is run by the ultra-Orthodox party, Shas, which has a strong hatred of believers in Yeshua. When a Gentile marries an Israeli Jew, they are entitled to full rights and benefits but our son Ariel's wife, Shayla, has been refused citizenship for 7 years and now has received an ultimatum that she must leave Israel permanently by the end of June, 2017. We believe this has happened because of the Isaiah 53 video and how the Gospel has gone out in this precious couple's lives. In fact the Ministry of Interior also told Ariel that they are planning to remove our citizenship as well (Richard and Carolyn). Would you please pray with us, even daily, that the L-rd's will would be accomplished and that we would prevail. The battle belongs to the L-rd!

One thing I would like to point out about the IFI prayer points regarding their Prime Minister and his wife is that while they readily see is the 'witch hunt' that the media and legal system is on regarding the Netanyahu's, they also pray with an objectivity that is sorely missing from news media these days. One of the prayer points is "Let the truth be revealed – expose any corruption in these cases, Lord!" I point this out because while it is the job of the news media to operate with objectivity and they have sorely abandoned that approach, it is imperative that the intercessors of God do pray with a high level of objectivity. We don't know what God knows, and our position is not to pray that abuse is covered, but that abuse be exposed - even if it being done by those we adore or admire. An excellent example of the position we should hold in intercessory prayer for our leaders, and indeed in all cases.

From Jerusalem Martin Sarvis provides us an excellent and insightful report on the Prime Minister's visit to China - but even more so how the spiritual exchange between Israeli and Chinese believers is one of the most significant developments of the last few years. Sarvis writes in "To and From "the land of Sinim: As we see gateways widening between Israel and China in the area of governmental and economic relations, we are aware also of passageways which the Holy Spirit has been opening and networking between believers within the two countries!" Listen, in the United States before every Jewish holiday we are bombarded by TV commercials from Rabbi Eckstein and his International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Let me be plain: DON'T give to help Israelis through him! The rabbi lives like a millionaire on those donations, and Jesus is NOT lifted up to the Israeli people in the process. You need to be good stewards over your donations to Israel and almost every ministry we feature in this prayer summary are helping the needy in the name of Yeshua. Flavia Sevald & The JIJ Team: We are very excited to share with you a major international accomplishment. On March 6th, Calev Michael met with Chief International Criminal Court Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda in The Hague and presented JIJ’s communication for investigation of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh for war crimes he committed during the 2014 Gaza War. Haniyeh is accused of using Palestinian civilians as human shields, firing rockets from crowded population centers, frequently encouraging civilians to remain in areas that constitute potential attack targets for the IDF and storing rockets in schools and hospitals. We want to thank all of our interns that have worked on this project for the past 8 months; researching, writing, reviewing and editing, without them it would not have been possible. Look forward to updates on two of our new initiatives. We have begun circulating a memorandum for signatures ahead of the election of 15 new countries to the UN Human Rights Council. This will be presented to the UN General Assembly who will elect the Council’s new delegates, and calls upon them to elect countries with better human rights records than Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. In the early 1990's I (Donna) had a series of revelations about the contributions that the apostle Paul gathered over a several year period and which he was determined to take and lay at the feet of the apostles in Jerusalem by the feast of Shavuot, or Pentecost. Even knowing he would be imprisoned in chains if he went to Jerusalem, I believe the Apostle Paul was so determined because he was a prophetic model of the giving from Christians in the nations that would in the end come to pass during the prophesied season that "all Israel" would be saved ...and which will create a ripple effect of "life from the dead" (salvations) in all the nations.

As Paul wrote to the Corinthians in encouraging them to collect this donation to the apostles in Jerusalem for the ministry there, "For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem. It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things."

To the apostle Paul this was not about mere humanitarian outreach to the poor, it was about funding the ministry within Israel. Remember - none of them in the first century expect that it would be a couple of thousand years before the prophetic events just prior to the return of Messiah would take place. The contribution "for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem" is speaking in the relative terms of ministry funding, not merely meeting the material needs but the greater purpose of assisting them to share the spiritual provisions in Israel.

None of the first century apostles saw more clearly than the apostle Paul what God has purposed in the season of Israel's ultimate salvation, and how our contribution to that ministry will trigger a great harvest among the nations. It is written throughout Paul's letters for those God gives eyes to see, which is one of the reasons that I delighted in this article by Asher Intrater received this week, Wealth of the Gentiles and Feet of the Apostles. I believe it communicates the necessary understanding of both the integrity required, and the soberness of the responsibility to stand wisely in these prophetic places.

Asher writes, "There is a great danger in this outpouring of financial blessing. Those who receive it must act in strict integrity, even personal austerity, while at the same time being aggressively generous to use the finances to advance the kingdom of God." Read more!

Israel has just had several days of celebration of the Purim holiday which is a prophetic picture of the Church in the nations in the figure of Esther, interceding - not just in prayer but in life-threatening action - to save the Jews from the murderous scheming of Haman. Howard Bass of the Yeshua's Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva writes about the book of Esther and the applications of it in Israel's modern times.

Howard also gives us an update on their wounded soldier, David, and the young believer ladies who were so seriously injured in a terrible car accident. He writes that the driver is still in serious condition but her parents have come to faith in Yeshua through seeing all the love from other believers towards their daughter!

Bass shares a little of the history of the Jaffa Gate Christ Church which their teens & soldiers visited recently on a historical tour. He also shares that their son Tal is finished his military service and about to start his pre-college exams. They ask you to keep Tal in your prayers.

News from Ben Juster who is the operations director for Tikkun International, first up is the news that his mom, Patti Juster will be having a heart valve replacement surgery in the next couple of months. Read more inside the Weekly Summary attachment Some of the prayer requests for the Tikkun Ministries this month are for the renovation of the Tel Aviv Tiferet Yeshua congregation; for the new elder candidate in the Love of Yeshua congregation in Jerusalem; for the Tikkun Board meetings upcoming March 19-22. "As part of these meetings, the Revive Israel leaders, Tents of Mercy leaders, and leaders from local congregations will be meeting together for relationship strengthening, strategy, and a practical implementation plan for what is discussed. Please pray for these critical meetings."

The Maoz Ministry weekly prayer letter is written by Katy Smith representing Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram. First off Katy asks for prayers for rain. "The Sea of Galilee's level is at an all-time low, possibly endangering surrounding aquifers. Though Israel no longer relies on the water from the Kinneret as the only drinking source, it is vital that it maintains water levels above the 'bottom red line.' Please PRAY that the next two months of the rainy season will bring the desperately-needed precipitation to northern Israel, where the farmers are trying to save this year's crops."

Secondly Katy writes about a special recognition celebration for Dr David Stern as they prepare next week to release a Hebrew version of his Hebrew New Testament Commentary. "Dr. David Stern is known for his scholarly knowledge of the Bible and maybe especially for his Hebrew New Testament Commentary, which is a uniquely comprehensive guide used by pastors and leaders around the world.

This translation by the Maoz book department has been a work in progress for the last four years and to mark this accomplishment, "Maoz is organizing a special Evening of Recognition, celebrating both Dr. Stern's impact on the body of believers worldwide and the launch of his book in Hebrew." The Dugit ministry of Avi and Chaya Mizrachi send thanks for the prayers for Chaya as she ministered at a Jerusalem Women's Conference. She was off to Poland on the 9th to minister at another women's conference where last year over 400 came to know the Lord. Pray for much fruit.

Orna Grinman of A Sign & An Example ministry to orphans, widows and single parents has penned a blog article on Purim, A Bible Book That Hides Him.

In Haifa the Immanuel Book Shop and church is the ministry of Pastor Najeeb and Elizabeth Atteih, who also do Syrian refugee ministry and have a ministry to the Christian Arab soldiers in the IDF. You can read inside the Weekly Summary attachment how they are trying to update the resources in their Bible book shop where all sorts of people drop in to talk and seek materials, including muslims and orthodox Jews.

Currently their Christian solder's ministry is helping 25 soldiers consistently and a few other soldiers occasionally. The majority of these soldiers come from broken homes and are facing many difficult situations in their lives. Many of them are lacking people in their lives who can listen to them, love them, hug them, give them spiritual guidance, or support them. Ruth, who writes these prayer letters for Najeeb and Elizabeth asks, "Please pray for Najeeb and Elizabeth as they carry great burdens on their shoulders, and need God’s strength day by day as they carry on their work." We have news also from the HaMaayan (Wellspring) congregation in Kfar Saba, thanks to Sally Shiff who sends their prayer letters out. Of course they have been observing Purim, as they do all the feasts of Israel. Sally shares about a recent congregational field trip in the Judean Hills where they visited many historic biblical sites together. They also dedicated a new questhouse where volunteers who come to assist the congregation will be able to stay while interning or volunteering at the congregation. Fresh (and refreshed) back from New Zealand, Evan and Maala Thomas have returned to Israel to take up senior pastoral role at Beit Hallel congregation in Netanya. First, Evan and fellow pastor Lev joined with 37 pastoral colleagues for a 2-day retreat together in the Negev. From there, they began the congregational festivites surrounding the Purim. At the end of the month, Evan and Maala witll be in Hong Kong for 5 days of intensive networking together with Swiss colleagues of an Israeli/ Swiss organization, “BeYachad”. One other prayer request they mention several times is for the health of many among them who have been suffering chronic respiratory illnesses after a hard winter in Israel. (We have been seeing much of the same in Texas and among our Facebook friends, so suspect this is a priority prayer to raise up for all of us in the body of the Lord - that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and healing will flow and poor health be returned to well being.)

"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

It was not just a one occasion statement. Since this event recorded 2,600 years ago in the book of Esther, we have seen these same circumstances rise up repeatedly in history and in many geographic places where Jews came under threat.

Not only that but now with the restoration of the modern state of Israel we see a new thing: the threat against Jews has been ongoing non-stop since 1948 in Israel but also increasing and spreading. The unrelenting threat began first to new State of Israel then decade by decade it has increasingly spread throughout the nations of the world. Now year by year we are seeing the threat become so pronounced in many nations that Jews are emptying in nations across the world to seek safety in numbers in Israel.

Do you see what I'm saying? The attempted Nazi extermination of Jews in Germany ended the 2,000 era of "Haman" attempts against Jews within a single geographic area. With God's restoration of the State of Israel the era of worldwide "Haman" aggression began. First in the immediate and continuing attempt to wipe Israel out, but now infecting the nations it has continuously spread out to encompass Jews in all the nations too. There is no longer a single geographic location of pogroms, but a worldwide persecution which will ultimately lead up to the prophecy that all nations would come up to war against Israel.

There has never been a greater need for God's Esther's, who are the worldwide church, to come to grips with who they are and to understand fully that they have been called into the kingdom for such a time as this. It is beyond what Esther might have wanted for herself, she finally had to grasp what God's intentions for her were in placing her in that position in the first place. That is what the Church must wrestle with and get too.

Avi Mizrachi of the Adonai Roi congregation in Tel Aviv and the Dugit Outreach writes Israel, A Country in Need. " Yeshua was interested in meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of His people. Often, it was the meeting of a physical need that opened the eyes of Israel to their Messiah. Here at Dugit we believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. "

They write, " According to a report recently published by the NGO, there are about 2,546,000 (31.6%) impoverished people living in the country. This includes 1,613,000 adults (29.8%), and 932,000 children (35.1%), according to the findings. More than a third of these children dropped out of school to help support their families. Almost 70% of the impoverished families earn an average salary of 4,000 shekels a month – about a thousand dollars (1/4 less than the cost of housing alone). When it comes to senior citizens, the statistics are not much better. Most elderly (94%) will say that the government benefits are not enough to live in dignity or to purchase bare necessities. The majority of elderly cannot afford a nursing home or in-home care. The homeless make up 10% of the poor people while the other 90% live in old homes or housing projects."

The House of Victory which is led by Eric Benson is a rehab ministry attached to the Carmel Congregation in northern Israel. Due to the high concentration of people with addictions and in the sex trade on the streets of Tel Aviv, many of the Messianic outreaches work cooperatively on the streets of Tel Aviv. When the reach the men and women on the streets of Tel Aviv, they are taken back to the rehabs located in various parts of Israel. This is not a glamorous work and it takes the heart after God's own heart to do this kind of ministry which is heartbreaking, but also glorious when lives are restored by the power of relationship with Yeshua. We received a short note from Eddie and Jackie Santoro who said they were having a wonderful trip in the USA - their first in two years since Eddie was diagnosed with a brain tumor (which is gone now!) Glad to hear their trip home to New York and also to Florida has gone so well. We look forward to hearing more when they return home to Jerusalem. Praise God for the testimony of GREAT healing for Eddie.

The Karem-El congregation, also connected to the Carmel congregation, has been placing a major focus on families over the past months. That continued in February with the Israeli "National Family Day" when the congregation met for a celebration together. Recently one of their home groups volunteered at a youth center for Jewish Ethiopian immigrants, and another team at the congregation pitched in to clean up the beaches with the "Beautiful Land Initiative". Arni and Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way write this month about an intensely specific prophetic word about their ministry which was received from a European prayer network, from someone they did not know and who did not know them. What the intercessor saw was so precise and lengthy, that Arni writes, "Why did Father go through all the “trouble” to send this word in such an indirect manner? The bottom line for us is that it confirms our belief that we have been given a specific insight into an aspect of Heaven’s strategic battle plan, which consequently strengthens our resolve to pass on what we have received." Daniel and Shirya Yahav pastor the Peniel Fellowship in Tiberius, also a family-oriented congregation, it is perhaps the largest congregation in Israel. Part of the investment they are making in their families is the congregational learning center and kindergarten. They have even developed a Messianic-oriented curriculum for teaching in their elementary and kindergarten. The youth even participate in serving in emergency rescue training and the their pastor, Daniel, serves in the Home Front Command, a reserves that protects their village. Ron Cantor's March Update shares about the exciting growth at Tiferet Yeshua congregation (TYC) in Tel Aviv. If you are interested to know more about the Purim Feast that Israelis celebrate this week - the one taken from the book of Esther - all you have to do is read Martin Sarvis' weekly report inside the Weekly Summary attachment. Sarvis writes, "It is unfortunate that Purim has come to be regarded in Israel primarily as a minor holiday for children (often adorned in Halloween costumes from America). We bless the children, certainly—but for their very sake we believe it important that Israel take seriously all of the message of this season. We encourage you to join with us in doing so!" Israel Pochtar of the Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod also writes about Purim and their many ways to doing outreach to the community celebrating the festival of Purim - like their Youth Conference that will minister to young people throughout southern Israel. He writes, "This conference is called "Next Level: Step into your calling" and that is exactly what we want to encourage our youth to do, push through until they reach a new level of anointing and power. Our goal is to motivate them to find their place in the kingdom, as well as in the society they live in. Whatever career path they chose in life, we want to give them the tools to recognize their God-given calling and shine His light in every area of life." Pray for discernment for us all - in Israel and in the international church - as deception becomes an increasing factor in our daily lives from the daily news to the pulpit. As it says in 1 Timothy 4:1-2, The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. Let us keep the faith, speaking the truth in love.

In the first prayer excerpt this week, I have to tell you that I have such an absolute respect and affection for this lady, Ruth Nessim, who is a pioneer of the faith in Yeshua in Israel. Her prayer letters always touch and inspire me, but this one also moved me to tears as Ruth took a look back at her life in the walk of faith. Ruth has recently won a battle with cancer of the Lymphatic System, and she continues to run her race with such single-hearted focus. From the Hebrew congregation in Arad, Hasdey Yeshua (Mercy of Yeshua), a report on a former ultra-Orthodox, now follower of Yeshua, who came to encourage the Arad Russian-speaking Messianic congregation who are being harrassment from the local ultra-Orthodox. "... he knew he had to respond, to come and encourage them. You see, he himself had grown up ultra-orthodox. He knew that the excessive anger and fanaticism demonstrated by them are not a cause for despair, but are a reason for hope. The congregation also gives an update on the Bedouin believer they had to take in due to danger and even threat to his life from his family and community after they found out he had come to faith in Yeshua. The threat became so acute, he has had to flee the city in the middle of the night and is now in a secure place with strong believers. He does have other challenges in his life - the illegal activities he was involved with before he came to faith. Pray for this young man and read his story inside the Weekly Summary attachment

Also in Arad, we heard from Lura Beckford this week who along with her husband Eddie have been in the crosshairs of religious persecution for longer than this prayer list has existed - and that is 16 years! Now Lura writes, "We just got a letter for Eddie today from our health insurance here in Israel. They have canceled his insurance since he is no longer a citizen of Israel (that's NEWS to us). We have 45 days to appeal it. We can't appeal it until the Interior Ministry gives us formal notice. They are ignoring us and refusing to stamp Eddie's passport for his citizenship. It's all quite illegal. We have a lawyer who is working on it, but they are not responding to him either. We need some specialized prayers! "

You may have heard this from other sources but a key member of the Beer Sheva Yeshua's Inheritance congregation which Howard Bass leads, was injured in his IDF service guarding Joseph's Tomb. A pipe bomb was thrown at him and it was packed with sharp shrapnel. Howard writes, that he is currently in Sheba Hospital never Tel Aviv : "David told us how the Lord protected him, in that only his hand was struck, and even though the second finger was 'dangling', all of the nerves and tendons remained intact. The doctors suggested an amputation, but he said "No", despite the longer process of recovery, from the doctors' viewpoint. He will need a replacement for the knuckle connecting the finger to the palm, and other cosmetic surgery. David is active on the worship team, and is growing in his personal worship of the Lord, and is a very positive influence on his peers. He believes that God gave him a gift to play the guitar, and wants to get back to playing." Please pray for a miraculous full recovery.

Also Howard reports on a 3-car accident near Beer Sheva where three people were killed and three believers were badly injured. Please read the details of these three believers, an Israeli from Texas, a Korean sister and an Israeli believer inside the Weekly Summary attachment. A family in Yeshua's Inheritance has opened their home to the one woman who has been released from the hospital but wants to remain in Beer Sheva until her friends also recover. Please pray for them.

There is also a report about the young woman from the Ukraine that believers in the Negev and Tel Aviv are helping to raise funds for her treatment in Israel for skin cancer.

Among the good news from Howard Bass are two examples of actively seeking unity with the other believer ministries in Israel. Howard talks about things he and the congregation are doing with Dov Bikas, and also with Avner and David Boskey. It is always encouraging to see ministries who are not affiliated per se reach out to fellowship together or to share ministry and teaching. That is where God commanded the blessing - where brethren dwell together in unity.

Orna Grinman whose A Sign & An Example ministry is to orphans, widows and single parents shares a new blog entry, A little bit of Nachat | Waking up this morning I thought I knew the rules of the game. Earlier this week, 154 stones in a Jewish cemetery in Missouri were violated. Anti-Semitism worldwide was on the rise, and maybe it was time for me to bring my angle about this. But then I pulled up the Israeli news site and read that Vice President Mike Pence put on gloves, flew into Missouri and helped clean up the place.

Ron Cantor of Messiah's Mandate also has new blog entries this week, Nikki Haley Blasts Hypocritical U.N. Security Council and Angela Merkel: Islamic Faith not the Cause of Terrorism | Merkel makes the mistake of assuming that all non-Radical Islamists are peaceful. Joel Jelski reports that having finished all his courses and tests, all that remains is to finish writing two research projects before officially graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Education and Communication. Israel Pochtar has a truly "Good Report" upon his return from a Jewish-Arab Reconciliation Conference in Turkey. The Lord is doing seriously wonderful things among the Syrian refugees "who fled to Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon came in contact with local Christians in those countries, and now these refugees who were once in remote regions and completely unreachable with the gospel, were now reached and heard the message of Christ. God is doing some mighty miracles among these people, that doubtfully we will not hear about in the mainstream media. The Joseph Project in Jerusalem, headed by Jim Schutz, does a superb job as it partners primarily with Messianic distribution centers around Israel to distribute humanitarian aid to the needy in Israel. Jim writes, "We also help many individual families per pastoral recommendations and work with other Messianic ministries which are serving new immigrants and single mothers etc. These include Bead Chaim and ELY. Recently had about 50 reps of Messianic distribution centers for lunch and renewing of agreements."

First of all there is an update on the Special mailing I sent out last week about the call to witches to curse President Trump and all who helped him - there are additional upcoming dates they will be doing this through June, and also some excellent additional information from Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem.

Also multiple news headlines under the general topic of Anti-Semitism Increasing Around the World from Barry and Batya Segal's Jerusalem News Network in Jerusalem.

My Word

On his radio program yesterday, Mark Levin slammed biased media assertions that somehow President Trump was to blame for the rise of anti-Semitic activity in America. Levin said that instead, it was the Democrats sidling up to Islamists.

Without getting into the political weeds on this, it did strike a nerve with me because I keep seeing Israeli news people and newspapers making accusations against Trump being responsible for the rise in American anti-Semitism. That is 100% off-base.

On Twitter, news emails and Facebook, recently there is reporting in Israeli newspapers who are parroting American Jewish groups accusing the rise in anti-Semitism on Donald Trump who they say has drawn out the hidden American White Supremacists. The truth is that it is the Islamist Supremacists that are the cause for the rise in anti-Semitism in America as they have in Europe. Islamist Supremacists have overrun our politically correct college campuses and have aligned themselves with every Leftist protest movement out there from Black Lives Matter to Feminist groups. Islamists do NOT align with these groups because they are really for those issues, but because they are infiltrating to infect those groups with Jew hatred and Israel hated (and Christian hatred will follow).

I want to WARN ALL MY ISRAELI FRIENDS reading those horribly slanted stories in your Israeli newspapers: You are not getting the truth from those American Jewish organizations who are deceived so intensely on this count they cannot see the real cause of rising American anti-Semitism. Let me tell you, they are making themselves odious to people who see the truth and cannot understand why Jews would believe such things. It needs to be pointed out repeatedly that the reason for Leftish Jewish accusations like this is because they are UNSAVED - they need salvation to open the eyes of the blind.

Worldwide the rise in anti-Semitism is not coming from White Nationalist Supremacists, but from the advance of Islamic Supremacists. In Europe they called Geert Wilders essentially the same as they are calling Donald Trump - to take the focus of the true culprits. We must open our eyes to this manipulation of the facts.
