If
you are experiencing intense battles right now, perhaps it is something that
can help you understand the pressures and stresses of the Israeli ministries. I
often forget that spiritual reality when in the midst of my own personal
battles, then I am reminded again as I read through the Israeli Ministries
prayer letters. One of the main reasons
that I started Israelprayer 16 years
ago, besides desiring to make these ministries more known to church, was also
to raise awareness of our duty as Christians to support their material lack
from our abundance. It is almost impossible to get anything done without
finances. It has a paralyzing effect, like standing water with no water flowing
in, it stagnates. This is why we are called to help in this way, and the
apostle Paul, indeed called it our duty.

The last two prayer letters that I received
today have moved from the last entries in Israelprayer Summary this week. This
week, the last shall be first:
From the Arad Hasdey (Mercy) of Yeshua congregation, the topic is the "evil ideology" of Islam "which enslaves more than a billion and a half human beings worldwide." Their desire is to enslave many more that just a billion and a half. In the Arad Hebrew congregation, they have made a special point to do outreach among Islamic Bedouin who live in extreme poverty in the land surrounding Arad. The second topic on the Arad congregations'
minds is the ugly religious spirits that are trying to consume the city of
Arad, and indeed Israel. That comes in the form of the ultra-orthodox who want
to take complete control of Arad and are fighting, not only against the
followers of Yeshua in Arad, but also against the seculars, including
persecution of the secular mayor who is trying to raise the town to its fullest
potential. The Mercy of Yeshua congregation is calling for prayer for the Arad
Mayor who is even confronted with a house on his street that is plastered with
posters that say: “Nisan, you failed!”, “Nisan is a threat to Arad”, “Because
of Nisan, Arad is Being Destroyed”.
Even "more insidious," the write, is
the "anti-missionary group called Yad L'Achim" and ultra-orthodox
group that started in Brooklyn, New York, but is especially active in Israel.
(It is active everywhere and a reason I exercise as much caution as possible

The second "last shall be first" prayer letter comes from Katy Smith writing for the Maoz Ministry of Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram. Katy is focused like a laser beam on intimidation, and specifically the intimidation that the ultra-Orthodox exercise against Messianic believers, seculars, and even the Israeli government. Over the past few weeks the influence of religious intimidation has been rocking Israeli news headlines, as Katy notes, "With the help of the demonic spirit of intimidation, 11% of Israel's population has basically been holding the rest of us as hostages—including PM Netanyahu, who, without the ultra-Orthodox parties, would not be able to form an alternative government. This intimidation has been going on for decades, however, now it is reaching a boiling point with secular Israelis and those who believe differently than the ultra-Orthodox. We are asking for your prayers. "

Tony and Orna Sperando lead the Kfar Saba congregaton of the Wellspring, Kehilat HaMaayan. This prayer letter they catch us up on things going on with their youth grateful for a newly remodeled and larger meeting room; several holidays celebrated together and other fun things. Also they are seeing their prayer meetings become stronger and more prayer groups being added during the week. Ron Cantor of Messiah's Mandate shares a prophetic dream, The Key to Overcoming Sin is His Presence. Also he shares a short teaching on the Immersion in the Holy Spirit. Ron, who is an elder of the Tiferet Yeshua congregation in Tel Aviv, also brings an invitation to help them double their seating capacity from 150 to 300 and to begin to live stream their services in order to reach Israelis via the web. On the mind of Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel
and Voice of Judah ministries are the needy children in their area. The summer may just have begun but Pochtar is
already gearing up to come to their aid for Back to School supplies, text books
and backpacks. He writes, "Our humanitarian projects bring us into contact
with many families and children who suffer extreme poverty, and who simply
can't afford new school supplies and text books. Our "Back-To-School
Project" allows us and our partners to assist these children and their
parents by providing them with the means to acquire school supplies and text
books in preparation for the new school year. It's a costly process and parents
need to spend large amounts of money on text books, stationary, and school

new children's program directors and their transition. Also for finances for
purchase of new speakers for shabbat services.
Tents of Mercy Congregation (Kiryat Yam). For
continued growth among the leadership team. For grace for Avi and Hannah as
they continue to present the vision for the community for the coming years. For
resources to complete critical repairs and renovations within the clothing
distribution areas of the building.
Harvest of Asher (Acco). Pray for Guy Cohen
and his family, as they take a two-month sabbatical to invest time together as
a family. Pray especially for their children, as teens face many difficult
challenges to their faith both leading up to and during their army service.
Pray for an outpouring and revelation
of God's love and wonderful purpose for them.
Tiferet
Yeshua (Tel Aviv). God is doing a
powerful work at Tiferet Yeshua through some of our members. They have begun to
go on the streets and pray for people. They have seen most of the people
healed. However, we have not seen many salvations. Pray for more of these are
being healed to see their need for salvation.
Asher and Betty Intrater. Asher is putting the
finishing touches on a new book from an undisclosed location in Canada. Please pray that Asher has clarity from the
Spirit on what to include and how to write it. Pray for the editing and
publishing process to go smoothly.
Revive Israel team. Several from Revive Israel will be joining
Asher and Betty at the Watchmen Gathering prayer event in Montreal. Please pray
for divine connections and for unity among the various leaders who will be
attending. Youval and his family are
traveling in France and Switzerland this month -- please pray for safety and
rejuvenation for them.
Dan and Patty Juster. They have a few more
weeks of travel for their US itinerary before returning to Israel. Pray that
their remaining time will be effective in equipping the Tikkun America
congregations and in strengthening relationships among various churches.
Richard and Carolyn Hyde, in addition to
celebrating the marriage of their daughter this month, are as ever, going about
Israel making friends and sharing the gospel with those they meet. You must read two of the testimonies they

Carolyn then you don't know how this
is one of those blessed people who never met a stranger. Sincerely one of the
most upbeat people I have ever met.)

persecution that has come against several members of their family due to their

It started Monday and ends Friday bringing together "over 100 Israeli Jewish, Israeli Arab and Palestinian Arab young people are gathering together from across Israel and the territories to worship and praise God together, and to receive corporate and individual instruction and experience in honoring Him in their hearts, with their voices, and with musical instruments! Organized by Succat Hallel (a 24/78 worship and prayer center in Jerusalem), the speakers, teachers and facilitators consist of young adult leaders from Succat Hallel, leaders from many different congregations in the land, and a visiting team of leaders from abroad. The family of Anthony Simon of Voice in the
Wilderness write, "In the light of our father’s (Antony Simon) passing, we
want to update you on the current status of
“Voice In The Wilderness”. The
ministry is still ongoing. We are spreading the Gospel in Israel and throughout

I'm in London and am seeing more
amazing political "second chances" that God is granting - I believe -
because of praying people of the UK. Listen to this:
Prime Minister Theresa May became the Prime Minister to lead Britain
through the Brexit process. She had a decent majority, but was advised to hold
a snap election to get an even larger majority. The polls said she had a 20%
lead!
However, over the few weeks between calling a new election and the
actual election, there were fierce terrorist attacks, and also a revenge attack
on Muslims coming out of their mosque on Ramadan. Then the high rise building
with flammable siding burned down in one hour - killing at least 79 people.
Charismatic opposition leader, Jeremy Corbyn, blamed May.
To make a long story short, when the election was held, May still had
the largest party, but lost her majority. She had two choices, to partner with
the only other conservative party to regain her majority, or go again to
elections that had a very good chance of giving the government to far leftist
Jeremy Corbyn. Corbyn in some ways is similar to Bernie Sanders - open borders,
open doors to all Muslim immigrants - and an entitlement state. He is
atheistic, strongly pro-Palestinian, calling members of Hamas and Hezbollah his
friends, and is of course pro LBGT and pro-abortion.
Back to the choice of PM May partnering with the conservative party to
get back her majority. That party is the Democratic Unionist Party in Northern
Ireland (part of the UK) led by "Protestant fundamentalist" leader
Arlene Foster. Several others of the 10 person party are born-again Christians
and very pro-Israel, pro life and pro-family values!!!! Some of these party
members requested to receive the Maoz Israel Report!
I was aware of the possibility of PM May partnering with them and of
course was praying into this. It seemed like a dream, but today it has become
true! So I address our prayer-warriors, especially the UK born-again believers:
Do not let this opportunity be lost! Pray that the influence of this
partnership (not technically a coalition partner, but a full-fledged partner)
will also help turn the tide of wickedness in this nation.
There are many Christians in the UK who are alert to what is happening
between the forces of good and evil, and clearly see that President Trump is
God's person (as imperfect as he might be) to clean the swamp and turn back the
Tsunami of wickedness that reached a peak during the Obama administration in
America.
By the way, I was also in Ireland on the day the new prime minister Leo
Varadkar, a gay, joined the gay parade marching in Dublin. Believe me, Irish
Christians are praying their hearts out for deliverance from this man. So for
Britain and Northern Ireland, I say, "REJOICE and take this enormous
opportunity to put prayer power behind Prime Minister May and her new partner-in-governing,
the DUP!! GOD BLESS GREAT BRITAIN!
