I saw this wonderful photograph shared by Leon Mazin
on Facebook. Leon is the leader of the Shavai Tzion (Return to Zion)
congregation in Haifa. The boy is blowing the ram's horn shofar and holding the
pomegranate, symbols of the Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh HaShana. The trumpets
are a call to the Jews to repentance and return to God. It is also a call for a
shout of joy to the LORD. In this Hebraic year of 5778, let us pray that more
and more of the Jewish people will hear the spiritual shofar ringing in their
ears, so that they may repent & return to God through Yeshua with great
joy.

Of course, the High Holy Days are the major
focus of all the Israeli ministries at this time as today, Sept 20th the Feast
of Trumpets, or Rosh HaShana begins the prophetic Fall Feasts of the LORD. You
will find many sharing about these Biblical feasts inside the
Weekly Summary attachment . It is not merely a curiosity to learn of the
appointed times God instructed the Jews to observe, but these feasts contain
revelation concerning the salvation of Israel and the return of the Lord. They
are signs to point the Jews to Yeshua, but also the calendar of interest to the
believers in the nations of God's plans for us together with the Jews.

Ministries, who are currently in Far East sharing about these very feasts and
the covenants of God, file our first report which speaks to the full activities
that are commenced on the Feast of Trumpets. During this period forgiveness is
a key issue, and Katy Smith of the ministry speaks to the major rift between
the ultra-Orthodox and the secular that is peaking at this time. She offers

in law Suzie in Germany who was suddenly and inexplicably paralyzed. She has

Project is forging ahead with their second discount dental clinic - an openly

Dani Sayag who leads the Carmel Congregration
in Haifa, also writes about the Fall Feasts beginning with the traditional
Jewish New Year when "Neighbors and shopkeepers, friends and family, are
all greeting each other now with a warm “Shanah Tovah u’Metukah!” – “A Happy
and Sweet New Year!” Then following
through the 10 "Days of Awe" when all are encouraged to search their
hearts and "asking the Lord to reveal to us any actions or areas of our
hearts that we need to repent of."
Dani also writes about the Psalm 121 Prayer for Protection, one of the fifteen "Psalms of Ascent". "As we look toward the future, in these days when things are happening so suddenly, it's hard for us to know what will happen next -- except that God's Word shows us clearly that there will be wars, earthquakes, and much suffering. As we move further into these end times, we can see that the enemy of our souls is already increasing his resistance against the people of God. Sometimes we may ask, “Where will I be, what will I do, when all of these things take place?” and we can easily find ourselves in a state of anxiety and fear. David's Tent ministry [See Avner's latest word, The Blast
of the Shofar, online]. I'm
sure many of us have pondered the tension between longing for the return of the
Lord, but also desiring to see the lives of our children and our children's

marriage of one of their sons, their time of ministry in Nashville and France,
the passing into eternity of the husband of an elderly couple she has been ministering to since 2011.

Thank you for continuing prayers over the many victims of this major hurricane and fire season in the United States, Canada and islands in the Atlantic and Gulf Coast. Also for the victims of the major earthquake that just hit near Mexico City. Reports are, at least in the U.S., that the faith-based response to the aid those in the midst of these storms have out-distanced the response of the Federal Emergency Management Assistance. May there be a full turn to God from those who are now receiving ministry and aid in their time of despair.
