Now also I am keeping watch on Facebook for updates from Elisheva Damkani on her husband Jacob who has undergone a dangerously life-threatening surgery and now is need of miracles from God to survive.

Our update from Rick Ridings on his daughter
Esther Moore's condition is critical. Doctors had called the family in on July
1st to say their goodbyes, but before they could take her off life support she
opened her eyes and the next day responded - a sure indication of no brain
damage. The battle though is intense and the prayers of the saints are critical
on Esther's behalf.
The same is true for evangelist Jacob Damkani.
His wife Elisheva has given no update in the last 24 hours, but when she wrote
on Tuesday evening in Israel she reported that Jacob is still in a very
dangerous place and is not yet stable.
His survival the first night (Monday) was with a nurse on continual care
in ICU and none of the operating team believed Jacob would come out of the
surgery alive. He did but again, Jacob is in desperate need of the prayers of
the saints.
What shall we say of these things? The same thing that the prophet Jeremiah said: "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?" (32:27)

Lebanese Christian Arab pastor Najeeb Atteih
was also struck last year with a health crisis which forced him to have hip
surgeries with difficult recovery times.
He and his wife Elizabeth praise God for His grace and faithfulness as the
health crisis has pressed in on them in many areas of life and ministry.
Elizabeth has been carrying the weight of the ministry as Najeeb has fought his
health battle, and I have to say that I do love the boldness I read in
Elizabeth's related conversations as she shares the Gospel with those God leads
to her - the orthodox Jew, the Israeli Jewish drug addict, the Jordanian
Muslim, the international traveler who drops in to their Bible Book store in
Haifa. Pray for them as Najeeb continues to return to their ministry and Elizabeth
grows in sharing. Their son Tino also has a ministry among the IDF which has
the praise of soldiers and commanders alike.

As my own pre-Christian background is in the
music industry, I can fully relate to and respect what the Boskey's have to say
about not "unduly promot(ing)" their music in the past even though,
"Over the last four decades Avner and I have written many songs. Honestly,

and inspired by the written Word and by our relationships with the Lord. Avner has skillfully arranged, produced and

can humble himself is actually reflecting a degree of psychological wholeness

Peter Tsukahira writes the opening of this
month's ministry letter from the Carmel congregation on mount Carmel. Is it any wonder that located where they are
that the vision of the 27-year old congregation is wrapped up in a vision to "be
a people called to oppose idolatry and false worship as in the days of Elijah
and to 'prepare the way of the Lord.' We knew that the Lord would bring the 'spirit
and power of Elijah' to move on this mountain if we walked in total commitment
to His word"? Citing Malachi 4:5-6,
"Behold, I am going to send you
Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord.
He will restore the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the
children to their fathers," the see their part of a "great restoration"
that "is prophetic and intergenerational." Hallelujah and amen!
Tsukahira continues, "In 1955, Bible
teacher, C.M. Ward wrote, 'Mt. Carmel could rightly be called the mount of
great decisions.' The spirit of Elijah
and Mount Carmel again have an important part to play in preparing a people
ready to meet the challenges of ministry in our times. These are times of
crisis when costly choices must be made. We need the spirit and power of Elijah
again because “reborn” modern Israel is once more playing a crucial role in
God’s purposes. Mt. Carmel is where the
prophet Elijah challenged his generation to choose whether or not to serve and
follow God. This is truly the mount of great decisions."

of God’s love upon them during our youth camp this week, that they would
re-dedicate their lives to serving Him, that they will bond with each other in
deeper ways, and be prepared to be mightily used in Israel with their generation
| For increased unity among all the members of our congregation, that the love
of God will be “poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 5:5), that
there will be a greater, unhindered release of “living waters” to bring healing

Christian Arab Prophetic intercessory Rania Sayegh
in Nazareth (House of Prayer & Exploits) is back after a long absence as
she recovered from health issues following the Women's Conference in September
2017. She sends some powerful reporting
on the conference. I am purposely
mentioning the health issues that have been afflicting the Israeli ministries -
as I explained, the enemy of our souls is really focused on sidelining them
from their mission!

is getting medication and physiotherapeutic treatments but without any

Information I cannot share names of several who have asked for prayers for
the last several months for certain of their grandchildren who are afflicted,
even tormented. The enemy not only strikes at us through our children, but also
our through our grandchildren. Please pray for these Israeli grandmothers
crying out to God silently for their grandchildren.

In the letter, Messianic leaders requested to be recognized as a legitimate group in Israeli society, to have their rights respected, and to prevent instances of discrimination. Tremblings and Shakings | by Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem | The year was 2004; the Second Intifada was still raging, Ariel Sharon was Prime Minister…and in an upper room on Nachshon Street in Jerusalem a worship watch of Succat Hallel (Tabernacle of Praise) was in session. Rick Ridings had just felt strongly the Lord moving him to declare aloud Psalm 99 (above).
As he came to the last word of the psalm, the earth began to shake as a 5.3 earthquake rumbled through Jerusalem (Norma was present at the watch, Martin was at home a block away, and got up and hurried into the street when I realized what was taking place!).
