A Clear Future Vision
by Donna Diorio
I
don't say this to cause controversy, not in the least, because it turned my
head when Lance Wallnau brought the Kim Jung Un prophecy of Kim Clement forward
on Facebook. Clement had predicted of North Korean Kim in 2009: "You
are no longer alive. You are a vegetable, you are brain dead, and because of
that I will cause that to bring about unity in south and north Korea."
Because of speculations that Kim Jung Un was dead, I found it hard to ignore what Wallnau was saying about Clement's prophecy. But I am not totally comfortable with Wallnau prophetically and was not totally comfortable with Clement either. Here's why I had doubts.
I had much exposure to Clement in the late 1980's-early 1990's. It was before he became a huge sensation. He was on his way up, but this was before and I saw him a lot over several years at the little church we were going to. I have kept up with him loosely since and last saw him live probably within a year of his death.
I don't say Kim was a false prophet, I say he would often step outside of his realm of authority to prophesy and that's where he would mess up. I believe Kim had a true prophetic gift, BUT like so many others in prophetic circles he had a major blind spot regarding Israel.
When I was first introduced to Kim Clement he was very much replacement theology in his thinking. He prophesied over my husband and me many times but I came to see him as unreliable prophetically because of his views of touching Israel.
As I sat in that little church back in the 1990's on the front row, Kim Clement preaching away one night, his understanding of scripture filtered through his false belief that the Church as replaced Israel has God's chosen people something happened to me. As Kim was preaching his words rolled off the platform and hit me physically like a gut punch. I am talking about a spiritual thing that was so real I felt physically gut punched. It was so wrong what he was saying about Israel.
Later I even went to the pastor of the church along with my husband about how much of what he and Kim were preaching was replacement theology. The pastor denied that he suffered from Christian anti-Semitism or that he was teaching replacement theology. He did not want to believe he had it wrong about Israel being the past and the Church being the future but several years after we had left that church the pastor aligned himself with unsaved rabbis. He would invite unsaved rabbis to speak about Israel but did not extend the invitation to Messianic Jewish rabbis.
Around the same period Kim also began to emphasize Israel a lot. He was influenced by a spiritual mother from South Africa who understood God's love for Israel, but not really how it fit into God's plan that Jews were increasingly coming to faith. Both my former pastor and Kim were completely missing the significance of the body of Messiah in Israel, and increasing numbers of Messianic Jewish believers across the world.
The reality is that "for your sakes" Israel was set aside for a season so the Gentiles (nations) could be included in the "commonwealth of Israel." Then at the time appointed by God, the blindness that God put on Israel (in part) would be removed, and they also would come to faith in Jesus in numbers so big it would be a corporate or national level of salvation. Ro 9-11
Then Kim started going to Israel to hold his big "boots on the ground" prophetic events. He did not understand there were already spiritual boots on the ground in Israel. I wrote to him a couple of times that he should not do that because God already had prophets and a body of believers in Israel. That he should not go there without meaningfully connecting with the believer leaders in Israel first and doing all in cooperation with them. He never responded to me.
It was a dangerous thing for Kim to boldly go where he didn't have a clue what God was doing. It was beyond his sphere of prophetic authority for sure. I don't say Kim was a false prophet, only that he was unwise, prophetically. He was like so many others in prophetic circles who have a major blind spot regarding Israel. Kim could not be "the" prophet "to" Israel because he did not understand the first thing about the significance of God raising up a Jewish body of believers there.
Until the Christian prophets can see that significance, they are operating in the blind to God's plans to united Jew and Gentile into one international house of the Lord - the commonwealth of Israel, heirs of the promises. MOST of the prophets do not get it and it is a blind spot that hinders them from operating in international-level prophecy. It blinded Kim to his own limitations, and if he had known, he would not have gone into the spiritual warfare that surrounds Israel.
As for this prophecy about Kim Jong-Un, since news reports indicate that he is not dead. The truth of the matter remains to be seen. Prophets sense words from God which they then process through their own human facilities in order to interpret. Whatever filters of mindset they have, whatever character flaws might still be intact, these are things which accompany the true words that God impressed upon them prophetically.
It is easy to get over your skis prophetically, especially when you wade into international prophesying, which the church has NOT been really anointed for the past 2,000 years. The church has an orientation to prophesy to the body. Once the Christian prophets are rightly aligned with the body of Messiah in Israel, I believe the prophetic ability to prophesy to "kings" (internationally) can be exercised accurately, but I don't think it comes out accurately without that revelation of God's plan of one new man: Jew and Gentile IN Messiah, together, aligned and cooperatively working together.
Over the years of my involvement with the Messianic community, I shut down to interest in what the Christian prophets were saying for the most part. I always believed in prophecy but could never reconcile how someone could be a prophet of God and entirely miss what God intended for Israel and the Church in the end of the age.
It is puzzling why God is keeping the charismatic/prophetic circles so blind to the truth of His plans. Perhaps it is to humble them so they can see how at least three times in scripture it says that HE blinded Israel so they could not perceive. Not because God was going to cast them away and start over with the more deserving Christians, but because God always planned to set aside His chosen Israel in order to bring the nations into faith. Then at the last, He would join Israel and the Christians from the nations in one new man in Messiah. (Ephesians 2)
In part I write this as a warning to the Christian prophetic circles to reexamine their convictions about God's relationship to Israel and why He has begun to move increasing numbers of Jews to faith in Israel's Messiah Yeshua. The other part of this is encouraged everyone who does see the significance of the body of Jewish faith in Israel to not write off those who do not see it yet. Because let's face it, in reality there are even a lot of Messianic Jews in the Diaspora who don't really grasp the significance of the presence of Messianic faith in Israel. If they did, they would pull out all the stops to help build that body in Israel to fulfill the reason God has them there: so that all Israel shall be saved.

TV is a joint project with GOD TV and many Israeli ministries. It is the first
Hebrew speaking Messianic cable channel. PLEASE PRAY! The
Israeli equivalent of the FCC is meeting right now with lawyers from HOT cable
company with the goal of revoking our license to broadcast, because of complaints. PRAY! Several articles were
written overnight in the Israeli press attacking us and the cable provider--and
giving out the channel 182. We need your prayers here. Surely they will seek to
shut us down, but the channel is mostly local Israelis sharing their faith in
their tongue. Pray that our whole team would have wisdom to deal with this.
Fox News also reporting: Israel threatens to shut down new TV channel for preaching 'gospel of Jesus'
Kehila News has an excellent report about
the opposition that has just risen up against the new channel on Israeli HOT

I cried reading Shani Ferguson's Modern
Israel’s First Martyr about a sweet British-Israeli Facebook friend who
was murdered just months ago when a man in a sudden fit of rage because they
were Messianic Jews, began to attack the couple beating them in the head with a
brick. They were invited into the home to see the new baby when the man
suddenly began his vicious attack on the elderly couple. From the beginning it
was clear police investigators seemed to be trying to find justifications for
the murderous act based on the Messianic faith of the man killed and his wife
horribly injured. That is why Maoz ministries raising funds to defend them and
see the murderer does not go free. Donate
now to defend Jewish Believers.
In the weekly Maoz prayer points there is also prayer guidance Concerning Freedom of the Gospel.
"Yeshua,
many nations around the world declare Your name regularly. You are the most
famous Jew who ever lived – and yet in Your home country, Your followers are
not truly free to openly follow You. For every small opposition, let there be a
large breakthrough for believers in Israel. Many who opposed the spread of the
Gospel in Israel do so out of fear of centuries of Christian persecution of
Jewish people as well as wrongly believing the Nazi's were Christians as well.
We ask that You remove both the fear and the disinformation. Let this injustice
- in a land that values freedom and democracy - not go unnoticed by
unbelievers. We ask that You cause the Body of believers in Israel to shine
during this time – in kindness, in confidence, and in character. We ask for the
provision of ideas and resources, skill and talent for Israeli believers across
the country to create excellent content for this station. Above all, we ask
that Your name be made known in Israel!" I bring My righteousness near; it shall not be far off, and My
salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel My
glory. Isa. 46:13
As restrictions ease in Israel, Howard Bass in Beer Sheva reports that it
is still very confusing how the guidlines are to be applied. "We will try
to do what we are allowed to do as things develop for Nachalat Yeshua (Yeshua's
Inheritance). Meanwhile, we continue with
pre-recording for YouTube showing on the Shabbats (Saturdays)." Howard is
currently teaching on Daniel
2 (watch the service
here). In a 4/24 letter Howard also discusses the Danish Bible Society
stripping Israel from its translation: " Do not add to, nor take away from
what the Holy Spirit has inspired all of the writers of the Old and the New
Testaments to write. It is all the Word
of God."
Howard also weighs in on the talk of annexation of the Jordan Valley and
some areas in Judea and Samaria - all portions of land promised to Israel in
the British mandate & the League of nations. That has not stopped threats
from France & the EU. Howard recommends: "Listen to Kelvin Crombie's
video presentation about the significance of the San Remo Conference 100

loving Father who has not forsaken them, but who has indeed returned them, who
has indeed blessed them, and who has indeed multiplied them and made them

Chuck
Cohen Intercessors for Israel in Jerusalem sends Friday Prayer Points 5/1/2020 . Among the 9 prayer points shared are
their prayers for the salvation of Israel, and of Muslims (who are now in
Ramadan) and for the security of Israel under "a global assault on Israel over its plans to
annex parts of its God-promised heartland of Judea, Samaria and the Jordan
Valley. Also, the head of the International Criminal Court in The Hague has
just decided that "Palestine" is a nation so now they can take Israel
to court. Both of these issues fall under the category of what David prophesied
in Psalm 2.

Ronit Bender sends this update from quarantine in Carmel where she has
spend the last six weeks reaching out to people and enjoying the presence of
the LORD. She shares several videos she has come across during the holidays:
One powerful clip for
Holocaust Memorial, one for the memory of fallen soldiers and terror victims The Hope - Israel's National Anthem - sung by those
who defend Israel, and a clip from the mostly
televised celebration of Israel's Independence Day The airforce honored Israel's medical responders by
flying over all our hospitals! Ronit speaks about some of
the neighbors and friends who have helped her during the quarantine and who she
has been praying for and witnessing to.
Avi Tekle of the Tents of Mercy congregation in Kiryat Yam sends a short
video from Israeli Independence day. Yom
Ha’Atzmaut Sameach from Tents of Mercy. Also about how they are
easing back into a new normal as the quarantine is relaxed and children are
going back to school. Avi writes, " But in
the paradox of things changing so much so quickly, the reality of each human
need hasn't changed. The need for community, contact with others, the need for
food and shelter...the more things change the more they remain the same. How do
we "do justice" in such a reality? By getting close to the broken.
It’s in brokenness that we understand the beauty of mercy and hence within the
core of who we are exists the call to compassion. We are so grateful to have
the opportunity to serve our nation, city, and community. Thank you for your
support and prayers that mean so much to us.
Sally Shiff with the Kfar Saba HaMaayan
congregation shares about her outreach during the quarantine by supplying meals
to neighbors, take another to a doctor visit (an elderly man who was very
sick), helping another in a potential domestic violence situation, helping to
supply needs to friends who had lost jobs because of the virus, shopping for
those over 65 in complete lockdown and unable to shop - these are all things
Sally says were possible because of the support she receives for her ministry.
This is how it works, our donations make it possible for Messianic ministers to
give practical help, something that is very attractive to people looking for
God's heart in other people. They may not know that is what they are looking
for, but that is it.
From the Kerem-El, or God's Vineyard congregation in the Mt Carmel
region, Yonatan Arnold and Stefan and Keren Silver are also busy keeping the
congregation connected via Zoom for Shabbat services, prayer meetings, and
fellowship. Their youth group are very interested in doing Zoom bible studies
(how cool is that?!) If you would like to join in their Zoom Shabbat service email to the Kerem-El Office. They are
also out helping their congregants and neighbors who are suffering financial
needs during the quarantine time. They invite you to join them by donating to Kerem-El for the (1)
Financial Aid to the Needy, or (2) the Video Recording Equipment they need for
on-going use of live streaming. Right now they are using borrowed equipment and
need to purchase their own for the
future.

Donna Diorio: In the United States it was decided that in order to kick start the economy after the complete shutdown of the American economy, every eligible person was going to be issued $1,200 a person to help people who were suddenly out of job through no fault of their own, and to stimulate the economy as would be impossible for so many without the stimulus funds.
Even people on Social Security, as my husband and I are, were able to receive a stimulus check. We have been waiting and waiting for weeks to receive ours which was delayed because of our status as being on both Social Security and also still filing taxes as of 2018, before Tony had to step completely away from his business. This could be our last year to pay taxes, even though I file taxes on my donations, those come in below the amount I would need to file taxes on.
Anyway, that is why our Stimulus check did not arrive until this week. It is most welcome because it will help us get all of our utility bills current and help us to cover some purchases we have needed to make. As I was considering exactly how the funds we received would be allocated, I kept getting a clear prompting from the Spirit to tithe in a specific way into the Israeli ministries who are evangelizing in Israel:
Cast your bread upon the waters, For you will find it
after many days.
Give a serving to seven, and also to eight,
For you do not know what evil will be on the earth.
Ecclesiastes 11:1-2
Give a serving to seven, and also to eight,
For you do not know what evil will be on the earth.
Ecclesiastes 11:1-2
Dividing $240 into portions for 14 does not make for a very large donation but it is obedient to the direction of casting my bread upon the waters. Normally I would not write about how I am donating, but I do so now to encourage you all around the world that this is precisely the time for us to cast our bread upon the waters among the Israeli ministries.
This is very much in the spirit of the donations that were taken up for the believers in Israel after the prophet Agabus predicted a coming worldwide famine.
Acts 11:27
In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 One of them
named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine
would sweep across the entire Roman world. (This happened under Claudius.) 29
So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief
to the brothers living in Judea.…
Ecclesiastes
11: 4 He who watches the wind will fail
to sow, and he who observes the clouds will fail to reap. The time to sow
and reap is in times exactly like the world is in right now - great lack & uncertainty.
