Prayers for America & the Church in America
August 28:
The Republican National Conference was the most God-honoring event - in my
lifetime - which was put together by President Trump and the RNC. The
testimonies that were told of people's faith and how God helped them - from
Billy Graham's granddaughter to the ex-prisoner that turned minister of the
Gospel to his fellow ex-prisoners and to whom President Trump gave him a pardon
- were literally shining a great light across the nation.
Our prayers, I believe, have to focus on the CHURCH! On born again believers - Christians and Messianic Jews. I spoke to a pastor and his wife about the RNC and they immediately explained they felt they were not to get "involved in politics." They were to be "above politics."
My heart sunk. It was obvious they didn't have a clue about the spiritual war that is going on over America. The winning of this war over the coming election is critically important.
Do I think God wants Joe Biden and Kamela Harris, two abortion- loving, riot-encouraging, LGBTQ patrons and BLM supporters to rule America? No. I am certain that He does not. And if I am wrong, and God does want Biden/Harris voted in, then I would say He has given up on America.
In the Bible we have two revelations about judgment from God.
(1) “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (II Chronicles 7:13-14)
The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals, even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord. (Ezekiel 14:12-14
The first revelation tells us there is hope if God's people PRAY and REPENT. God will heal the land.
The second revelation is that when God has given up on a people, catastrophic judgement is coming no matter if the believers pray or not. concerning this second one Ezekiel says that righteous people could not even save their own sons and daughters, only themselves. When America is cast aside by God, nations like China, Russia and Iran and others will have a free hand to bring havoc upon the earth. It will be an earth that is different than anything we have ever known.
I believe we are now in the FIRST phase. God is calling on His people to pray and repent. And use common sense. Be an influencer to bring God's will to America. Yes, America and our world are on the edge, but God is willing to give America this golden opportunity to have a President who I believe has given his heart and his ambitions to God, and as surrounded himself with believers. And as America goes for the next four years and more, the world will go.
America still has a mighty mission to fulfill. To continue sending laborers throughout the world to bring the message of salvation and eternal life. Besides this message, everything else in the world pales.
OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN. Forgive our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Protect us from evil and deception. We pray that Your people will not be deceived by the evil ruling spirit of control and lies which drives the main stream media to take control over men's souls. Give us Your Spirit of Truth, Lord!. We hold on to Your promise that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty!
Lord we pray for our African American citizens who have been enslaved and blinded by socialist/Marxists. We pray, Lord, in Your Love for our black brothers and sisters, FREE THEM from the lies of those whose aim is control. Free them from those whose aim is to destroy America.
Remember Your early pioneers who came to America fleeing persecution for their faith. Lord, those same evil spirits that sought to destroy your people in Europe and many other countries have now found a resting place in the universities and big industry. We are calling upon You to send Your mighty Host of Angels to defeat these demonic driven, God-hating and America-hating forces.
May Your people rise up as ONE to fight for truth and righteousness. We are looking for You to go before us to see a miraculous victory over all the powers of hell. In Yeshua's Name we pray. Amen

In the prayer letter this week Maoz writes to say that Israeli Israeli believers are rallying around Michael Beener pastor of City of Life (also translates as City of the Living) Congregation which has been experiencing aggressive persecution from Orthodox Jews and cooperating city officials. This is so important! Please agree with them for God to rise up as their Defender. (Also for Israel Pochtar's ongoing harassment by the religious opposition). Maoz also writes about the Fellowship of Artists which brings together the modern day Levites who make music to the LORD from all across Israel. The Psalmists of Israel live again in our day!
Jackie Santoro, Zion's Glory and the Love of Yeshua congregation in Jerualem, writes The End of Summer of the historic changes Israel is experiencing right now normalizing relations with the United Arab Emirates. She writes it is "a truly historic moment as the world is undergoing a very major realignment, the implications of which are beyond what we can conceive! On one hand, this deal with the UAE is a certain "game changer" with greater prosperity and stability for everyone involved. On the other hand, the question reverberates: "How long will it last?" She also writes about the demonstrations against PM Netanyahu with 10,000 disgruntled people gathering outside his private home several times a week...plus more. Click title to read in full.
The Hebrew congregation in Arad, Hasdey Yeshua, or Mercy of Yeshua, writes about the Gaza arson balloons that traveled 50 miles from Gaza to Arad with a difference in altitude of 2,000 feet to land in their town in an industrial area. They are thanking God it did not land in a residential area because the distance is so great, they did not instruct the town's children not to touch the brightly colored balloons that carry the incendiary devices. Now the Arad kids know! They continue to meet outdoors in a local park, still having no permanent meeting place (please pray). Also they are continuing to distribute food to a number of Bedouin families - who are anxious for the ladies meetings to resume from covid restrictions. Keep them in prayer. Pray for a Jewish New Age couple they have long had contact with but still no acceptance of Yeshua. Now the woman has cancer and they are more open to the Word of God. Pray they will finally come to faith and the Lord will heal the woman.
Gil Afriat of the Tel Aviv Tiferet Yeshua congregation writes about breakthroughs
of faith for a new believer who immigrated from S America years ago, also the
new believer from a religious background who was baptised this summer has taken
a new job and discovered another believer also works there. It is perfect for
being able to encourage each other in their caretaker job roles. Gil also asks
prayers for the pastoral team at Tiferet Yeshua who have been working overtime
during the Covid crisis to deal with those living on the edge financially,
emotionally or spiritually. He writes, "Our team has experienced a bit of
wear and tear because of the load, and we are in need of God's grace to be able
to reach those in need without reaching our limits. Please keep our team in
prayer for protection, wisdom and grace as we continue to be there for the
flock God has entrusted to our care!"
I am sure this is a prayer request that could be made to cover so many of the pastoral teams at all the Israeli congregations. Please lift them all in prayer.
From Asher Intrater's Revive Israel, his article "King of the Jews" When Yeshua was crucified, Pilate placed a sign above His head, which carried the inscription, “King of the Jews”. This sign was written in three languages so that all of the world could know. Also the Global Broadcast 8/25/20 with worship and a message from the Revive Israel team. "We are blessed to connect with God's family all over the Earth. Please share this with your friends. It helps us reach more people who need encouragement and ministry."
Avi-Asher Hyde of Tree of Life ministries in northern Israel writes about
an Orthodox homosexual who learned that Yeshua could deliver him from his sin,
and after speaking with Avi-Asher and reading the New Testament he sent him,
the man came to faith, began to pray in the name of Yeshua, and "that
lust' I used to have towards men isn’t there anymore. It was taken from me, and
I don’t have that desire any longer….“I sensed that Yeshua was healing my
heart, and I thank God so much for this. It’s been a long time that I’ve dealt
with this orientation toward my own gender, and I’ve tried different techniques
and therapies, but I wasn’t able to change. What happened could be defined as a
miracle, because I don’t feel that I’m fighting against myself and that
orientation, nor am I suffering. It was simply erased. Thank you for your deep
prayer…. I’m praying that this is the start of my path in establishing a family
in Israel according to the will of God. Amen.” Praise the LORD!
Avi-Asher also writes of how Yeshua healed a Muslim lady in the park who was on
crutches, in pain and still undergoing physical therapy for excruciating pain.
Avi-Asher engaged conversation with the, opened the scripture to her and her
husband for 1½ hours and then prayed for her. When she tested for pain, she was
pain free. Pray for these two who received from the LORD and for this (which I
so admire Avi-Asher's transparency about): "For reconciliation - I made an
honest mistake in communication that unfortunately hurt a couple we’ve been
reaching out to. Sadly, they decided to cut off contact for now as a result.
Please pray for them to be willing to forgive, for healing of the relationship,
and most importantly that the end result won’t be a hurt connection with Yeshua
but rather that they’d realize that He’s the only One who never fails us, and
strongly cling to Him above all else!"

Leon Mazin of the Return to Zion Center in Haifa writes about the continuing stress that Covid 19 is putting on the entire nation of Israel, including the congregations who are ministering to the needs. They ask prayers for their Soup Kitchen. There are still restrictions on gatherings so they are meeting in home group settings, plus expanded meetings during the week online: " Instead of 500-600 viewers per week "before quarantine,” we have reached 2,000 viewers during our Shabbat service alone!" Leon writes, "It is so important to maintain effective communication and strong connections with our congregational members and with our greater community. These issues continue to challenge us, and I ask you to join us in PRAYER for wisdom from HEAVEN!"
Ronit Bender in the Kerem El and Carmel Congregations in northern Israel writes about people she has been a witness to in her daily life in Israel, drawing people to the "aroma of life" (2 Cor 2:15-16). Ronit is spreading the seed of the Lord in people who are open to her. Pray the seeds will produce the fruit of salvation in them all. She also writes to pass on how in her last letter she asked for donations to help the needy which she channeled through her two affiliated congregations, so the donations went to pay for a family struggling with an electric bill and so they could by food; another family needed help to rent an apt in Haifa because the husband has cancer and needs to be closer to the hospital; another family needing food, and many others including widows, single moms. The donations went to help many in need. She thanks you for helping.

"Despite what this battle entails, we are confident in God’s unfailing Word and promises." Read in her own words| Ronit Bender whose cardiologist told her that her irregular heartbeat is SEVERE, and is suggesting further tests. Please intercede for Ronit: No weapon formed against her shall prosper! | Olga Bikas severe back pain has kept her in "quarantine" for the past 4 years or so! Olga’s health. She went through several checkups that showed new findings and the doctors believe that an operation should improve her condition.
