Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries
Restoration
from Zion is the personal ministry of Israelis Dan & Patty Juster of
Tikkun Ministries, as well as their son Benjamin and wife Lorena, as Ben heads
the American ministry branch of Tikkun (this is both in building up the Tikkun
US network of Messianic congregations, but also in development of relationships
with US churches wanting to understand God’s plans for uniting Jew and Gentile
in the Messiah. As such, Ben and Dan have released an itinerary beginning Oct
29 and running through Nov 17 of conferences and churches they will be involved
with mostly together. Please pray for their effectiveness in all these
endeavors.
Also Dan gives a report on the
Jerusalem congregation, Ahavat Yeshua, where Dan serves as an elder and mentor,
in the Tikkun congregation founded by Asher Intrater and Eddie Santoro. There
are many quality believers in this congregation who are being mentored by Dan,
whose books have mentored a HUGE swath of Messianic congregations worldwide
(available at Tikkun.tv) The Love of
Yeshua is a discipling covenant community
under the leadership of an eldership. Because of Covid they had to divide the
congregation into three parts - areas of Jerusalem where lived could gather
legally under the govt restrictions. But Dan reports that their outdoor members
meeting in the park every couple of weeks also keeps them together. He writes, “…the
sub-communities are flourishing and experience great joy together. We are
believing that we will come out of this COVID period strengthened as a
community. “
Evan Levine is the head of the HaTikva Project which
he writes “exists to build up the Israeli Body of the Messiah and to serve
needy Israelis in the name of Yeshua as we fulfill His commandment to love your
neighbor as yourself, and you have a pivotal role to play.. . . Here is what
we are dreaming to do together.. . .
Together, we have surrounded many Israelis with the compassion, kindness,
and the love of Yeshua this year—and your partnership in this prophetic mission
makes all the difference.”
As much as I love the generosity of
humanitarian ministries doing outreach among unbelievers, I am partial to those ministries who
recognize the pressing needs of our own spiritual brothers and sisters in
Israel and who make it a priority to
aid them too. Lots of money flows into Israel that goes to unbelievers,
by comparison very little touches the
urgent humanitarian aid that many Israeli believers have. Humanitarian
outreach to both must be a part of all of our visions for Israel: "So then, while we have opportunity,
let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of
the faith." Galatians 6:10
From Kehila News
Israel a valuable online resource for the body of Messiah in Israel,
and for Christians worldwide to connect with them, has several articles that
caught my eye, Cookie Schwaeber-Issan’s The Aliyah Hype looks into
lipservice about welcoming immigration when reality of limiting immigration
appears to be what is really going on. The Israeli Attorney Joshua Pex writes
about a recent case as the Israeli
Supreme Court rules that a widow of a child of a Jew can be recognized as an Oleh and Israeli citizen with
all the benefits and privileges that entails. I am wondering if the Interior
ministry will comply with the law. Also another twisting of facts happened
recently when a Photo of IDF
soldier holding New Testament goes viral in Israel with accusations that that
missionaries have infiltrated the army by Tuvia Pollack
A good example of why I question the Interior Ministry actions is how they deny
citizenship (and things like the medical benefits that come with citizenship)
to non-Jews married to Israeli Messianic Jews. It is a way to try to force the
family to leave Israel “voluntarily.” It is coercion that I have known put
against MANY of the Israeli believers over the past two decades and the Interior
Ministry is a stacked deck bureaucracy against the faith of Jews in Yeshua.
This is a prayer priority that showed up in one of the ministry letters this
week – another of the highly effective evangelistic ministries.
From Rachel and Gilad Netanel a ministry letter brimming with the great
connections made with Israelis from their Ein Kerem home, a house of hospitality
and sharing faith that draws people like the magnet of love always does. But
they are also in urgent need of support, Rachel writing, “Due to Covid, many supporters are struggling, and
our monthly support has been reduced significantly.” She asks prayer for their finances
– they really need help. “It is especially during this time of Corona when the
Israelis are not able to travel that we now have so many more opportunities to
invite people to our home, but we need God’s help and yours to be able to
continue.” They also have a ministry house in Zukim, where they travel to
minister to people in a different region of Israel. People are drawn to them,
hear their testimony and the Gospel, lives are changed forever. This is good
soil to plant seed in.

website online as of today. But the last ministry letter featured Asher
Intrater’s article Jerusalem
Comes Down. Also his teaching
video on Simchat
Torah. Due to technical difficulties
on 10/14 the weekly Global Broadcast was cut short and goes directly to Ron
Cantor teaching on Colliding
Kingdoms.
Chaim Malespin writes, “On Wednesday (10/13) we

when the State of Israel was yet in its infancy, | to return the local exiled

For 30 years Avi Mizrachi of the
Adonai Roi congregation and Dugit
Messianic Outreach center has been leading gospel outreach to Israelis in Tel
Aviv. Avi writes, “"I know you believe in what we are doing here in
Israel. ... Of course, the past twenty months or so have brought certain
challenges to the way we minister." Govt restrictions forced them to
reverse their outreach and distribution, taking the aid to the homes of
families and ministering the Word over the internet instead of in their
congregation. But Avi believes the face-to-face type of ministry they do every
day in their coffee house ministry is a powerful way to see lives changed. It
must be! Recently we wrote about how anitmissionaries have targeted the HaOgen
coffee house! Avi is not letting the opposition intimidate them into drawing
back, in fact, this week he writes and appeal for more financial support for
the outreach, so they can put two more evangelists on salary and keep the doors
of the coffee house open full time to reach even more in need. It takes a
donation commitment to make this sort of increase, and that is where Christians
in the nations are those who need to step up to meet the need. If not us, who?
Avi also writes about the increased need for needy families seeking their assistance. "Our Distribution Center is serving 40% more families than we ever have before—and if we had more resources, we could reach so many more!" He writes, "Right now I am praying that the Lord would speak to friends like you to become monthly partners with us. We need an additional $10,000 every month in commitments to hire the evangelists we need and help feed the hungry families coming to us. Your gift of any size would make a difference—$30 a month, or if you can do more, $75 a month. "
Guy Cohen who leads the Harvest of Asher congregation in the Acco town where he was born, writes an excellent article about picking up his “Portuguese citizenship identification card. I was granted this as a descendant of those Jews who were cast out of Portugal over 500 years ago; my ancestors. Very prominent in my mind were the blessings and cursings of Leviticus 26.” He notes, “Throughout Portugal today, there are many descendants from among the Jews that at the beginning of the 14th century were called, the new Christians…. There are many hidden Jews in Portugal today. Hidden from others and also hidden from their own roots. God knows who they are and He has promised to bring them back, to Himself and to the land. The cry of my heart is that they will hear His voice and come to know Yeshua as their personal Savior and Messiah; their true inheritance. May the promise in Leviticus 26: 44-45 come to fruition. Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God. But for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.’ ”
Another truly encouraging report from the Tree of Life
Ministries headed by Ariel and Shayla Hyde and their team of evangelists in
northern Israel with strong skills also in online Israel evangelism. Two main
focuses of this ministry that two sons of Caroyln and Richard Hyde are leading,
is Pro-Life and Gospel. It is so
encouraging to hear the reports of those they are reaching and you can get a
taste of it in this video. Just think, during a
10-day period starting on Yom Kippur, they reached 2.5 Million Gospel views in
their online evangelistic campaign. I cannot stress to you how CRITICAL it is
in Israel to be able to reach Israelis in the privacy of their own homes, on
their own computers and phones. Many consider online resources to be the lowest
level of reaching people with the Gospel, but this is not so in Israel. It is a
Divine resource for such a time as this! Please pray for their new Street
Interview series which will ask “some
of life’s most important questions, like, “Does God exist?”, “Is there absolute
truth and is it knowable?”, and many more - with the goal of always steering
the conversation ultimately to the Gospel.” They are planning the last week of
Oct to fast and pray over the project and invite you to join them.

Ron Cantor’s short
article of 10/20 made my day as I was putting the finishing touches on this
week’s Arrows from Zion, addressing Lamentations 3:22-24: "Because
of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, 'The
LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
Especially
this part: “It would be like the alcoholic, who lost everything because of
his drinking. He hits rock bottom, and only then he understands that it was
good for him to be crushed. He now sees his sin and repents. And God says, “My mercy to him is new every morning.”
Or a businessman who has been cheating his clients out of money for years
(think Zaccheaus), suddenly finding himself in a jail cell. He finds God, he
finds mercy and he vows to pay back everyone he has robbed. That's the
revelation of God's faithfulness and his mercy. You may not be an alcoholic or a corrupt
businessman, but we all have areas where we struggle. And the good news is, if
we will put our trust and hope in the Lord, his mercies are new every morning.”

Kehilat HaCarmel during Sukkot and the time flew by so quickly I was surprised
when the next worship watch came to replace me!" | Please Pray for Claude Ezagouri of the Morning Star
Fellowship who has started a treatment that is due to last at least 6 months
for a medical problem he has been suffering from. Believe in prayer with them as they look to
the Lord for complete healing and for

has seen a new cardiologist she likes because he is caring, she’s taking new
meds, feels better but still asks for our prayers | Silvers: David's knees and Josie's back pain | A prayer
request for Naomi, for a dear
family that is a part of Israel Pochtar's pastoral team, who was diagnosed with
colon cancer. "Despite what this battle entails, we are confident in God’s

– I have been very
tired these days: probably as a result of a combination of factors: my age,
stress of the days of running to the bomb shelter, work load in the ministry,
etc. Olga Bikas: We are
grateful that Olga is feeling better these days! Though the doctors never found
the cause of the dizziness that put her in hospital a month ago, they did rule
out major issues like brain tumors, heart problems, etc., so this is already
comforting. Olga’s back also keeps improving and she is able to walk more outside
now than she did before.
