An Encouraging Exchange

A couple of days ago I had a really encouraging exchange with someone new
who requested to be a friend on Facebook. It was so encouraging I wanted to
share it here. Andrea C. of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas private messaged me and
this is the conversation that followed. When I asked her during the
conversation if she has had much exposure to Messianic Jews. She laughed and
answered, "No 'mam." That is an expression of classic Southern US
politeness:
Andrea: Hello
there sister. I've been reading your
blog and I'm hoping you can give me some direction. I am looking for places in
Israel to sow into. I'm looking for ministries that are feeding the poor and
sharing the gospel. I know that seems like a par for the course request, but
not every place is what they appear.
Donna: (Brand new
and she gets this already. That is encouraging in itself!) There are many good
Israeli Messianic Jewish ministries feeding the poor and those are the only
ones I would recommend.
Andrea: I had
given to one a few days prior (before I found your blog) and when I received
the receipt it had an American address on the receipt. Whether or not that is
common, I don't know, but it caused me to think I need to get some direction
from someone who is more familiar with the ministries.
Donna: An excellent ministry. No, it is okay that they have American addresses. It just means they have an office in the USA under a 501-3c non-profit status so they can offer tax write offs to the donors. Americans will just about not donate to any ministry that doesn't give them a charitable write off.

Andrea: My family
and I sponsor children in the Philippines with a Ft Worth ministry. I've been
over there to the Philippines with them a couple of times and I absolutely love
what they are doing. I was wanting to find something like that in Israel.
Donna: Once the quarantines are over, I'm sure there will be plenty of short term opportunities to choose from, and everyone on my list are good ministries.

Andrea: OH YES I READ THIS YESTERDAY!!! I have to tell you it blessed me so much!!!! Even long after I read it, I dwelt on what you said about how Rhoda must of felt...Praying praying praying... But then even as she answered the door, she went back not knowing what to make of it all in that instant, but in reality, what she was praying was being answered... And here we are.... BELIEVING ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED.
Donna: Honestly, after I wrote it something dawned on me for the first time. As much as Rhoda was surprised, those she ran to tell were even more surprised and could not wrap their heads around it even though that is what they were praying for. Many times I have expressed my beliefs about what is going to take place in the harvest in Israel, and how the Christians are going to come alongside in a big way to help the ministries, but they are so embattled in the present realities, it is hard for them to believe (I think) that it will change - help will come, funding will come - hardship will still be there, but they will not be alone in it because Christians will come! I don't mean ALL ministries can't imagine it, just a good majority have a hard time expect it will change.
Andrea: I had a dream and jotted it down upon waking up January 14, 2019 I dreamed that I was in some sort of college or university. I was walking down the hallway and headed to my class. I lived in a dormitory that was attached to the university does seem like. I walked into my class and it was all men. They all had on ramekins and they were standing facing the front. I walked in and I took my place I close my eyes and begin to pray. I open my eyes because I realize that all of these people were praising Jesus which was completely unexpected to me. They were Jews. I have been to Israel before and did not see any Jews that were praising Jesus as Messiah but these people were. I was in complete shock. I wondered if I had missed the news when this it happened and all of Israel.
Donna: Thanks. Wow. Quite a prophetic view of the Church waking up to the Messianic Jewish part of the body of Christ! And the university and classroom - it spoke to me of what a huge learning curve there is for Christians when they become aware of God's purposes for Israel's spiritual restoration. The problem is that many get sidetracked into study of Jewish things more than God's purposes to restore the Jewish people to Himself by Yeshua - in this time - NOT after the rapture. Even a great many Christians who attend Messianic synagogues in the USA have taken the rabbit trail of Judaism fascination instead of the Eph 2:15 plan of God to make of two - Jew and Gentile - one new man in Messiah on this side of the rapture. That includes the spiritual harvest of Israel and the nations that Paul writes about in Romans 9-11. Powerful stuff. My advice: stay focused on that!
Andrea: One other thing I had on my heart to share. The Lord has already moved on my heart to give to Israel last week, so I did. And I told myself I would give monthly once I found the place I knew had the heart of Jesus. But then, 2 nights ago, I had this dream. April 14, 2020: I had a cool series of dreams this morning. I was in Israel and there were people around different places standing in lines waiting to pay for food. As different people stepped up to pay for their things (food and necessities). I was watching from above and off to the side. As they stepped up to pay, there would be a WIND that would blow swiftly and in the wind, God would quickly move upon someone from behind and they would RUSH up front to pay for the items. I saw it in a few different settings and every time it was quickened to my spirit to sow seed in Israel right now. Be the one to pay for what they need. End of dream. So I shared it with other people in my family that I knew would immediately sow into Israel. They all asked for my help in choosing places to sow. I shared a couple of the ministries. I share that to encourage you. If He is speaking to me about it, He is speaking to many!!!

One of the
congregants at HaCarmel, a lady we keep anonymous, has an worship-arts ministry
at her Houses of Beauty. She wrote a really good word on trusting God in this
mass scale destruction we see going on globally: "When we look at the world today, and see the mass scale
destruction of life and finances, of our ability to congregate and worship,
many feel the breath of demonic influence behind it. As someone who spent 35
years serving the daemonic, thinking I was doing something good, I know
something about the demonic network that exists all over the earth and over
parts of the universe. Even if people all over the globe each took care of the
demonic influences in their own area, under the anointing of Messiah Yeshua, we
would only have a moderate effect upon the daemonic. But when we trust God implicitly, the One who is already victorious,
when we surrender the entire battle to Him, who has the authority and power to
take back the entire earth for Himself, and hand over our own sovereignty and
authority to Him, nothing is impossible. As those to whom He has given dominion
over the earth, in Genesis 1:26-28, He waits for us to give Him back His

Friday Prayer Points 4/10/2020 noting how on the Shabbat
after Passover, when the week-long feast of Unleavened Bread
begins, the passage is read from Ezekiel 37:1-14. These verses are always read on the Passover Shabbat,
which also happens to be the Shabbat when
Messiah Yeshua lay dead in the grave. God so arranged it that on this very
day, Jews worldwide read of the dry bones
coming to life – the resurrection!
Lord, we bless You for so loving Your unsaved people that even in their
traditions You have broken in with a word very much in due season (Jer. 2:4). Lord,
You said that after You gathered Your people back to their land – then You
would circumcise their hearts. Lord God of Israel, we ask You to do just that
in many more at this time (Deut. 30:4-6). Watch over the seeds that we
believers have planted in the hearts of our unsaved Jewish relatives or
acquaintances, and bring in a harvest today (1 Cor. 3:6).

From the Beer Sheva Yeshua's Inheritance congregation Randi Bass, Howard's wife shares about their 40th wedding anniversary on Resurrection day and while under quarantine. She talks about their marriage which they took very seriously even it was shortly before they both came to know the Lord and He picked them up and moved them to Israel. Now they have four children who serve the LORD and the gift of grandchildren too. Howard added what I thought was such a sweet compliment for any wife: "Randi has always been an amazing person and woman and lady, and without her, I would be rather 'gray', for sure. So whatever color you see in me (blue is my favorite!), it's both Yeshua and Randi! :)"
