Priority Prayer Focus Oct 11, 2017
Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:3

It is all about the Sukkot, Feast of
Tabernacles gatherings in Jerusalem this week and the Weekly Summary is packed
with insights and reports from several ministries taking part in the various
events this week. Israel is always flooded with Christians from the nations
during the Fall Feasts, but this year we are seeing a greatly encouraging
emphasis on the Body of Messiah in Israel taking part in these events. Inside the Weekly Summary attachment you will
find links to view some of the events and prayer points for the one remaining
event which has just started, Welcoming the King of Glory, which Martin Sarvis
gives an excellent overview of and prayer points for.
To watch the ICEJ International Christian
Embassy Jerusalem Sukkot "Feast of Tabernacles " Event this week, you
can view archived sessions on the ICEJ
Facebook page and also from the ICEJ website.
Revive Israel kicks off our Summary this week
with an article by Jonathan Moore called Sukkot: Hosting the Nations. Also two
videos from Asher Intrater: one his Asher's address to the ICEJ Tabernacles gathering
which you can view on Facebook VIDEO. It is about God's call for alignment and unity within Israel and the nations in
these Last Days. The second video by Asher is related, it is The Crowning of King Yeshua
Howard Bass of the Yeshua's Inheritance
congregation in Beer Sheva also reminds us that it is the 100th anniversary of that great and courageous --
almost miraculous -- victory of the Beer
Sheva Charge and victory by the ANZAC over the Turks on Oct 31, 1917, during
WW1. The annual commemoration of this
greatly impactful historical event is extra special this 100th anniversary and
the Nachalat Yeshua congregation is in the big middle of the event as always.
Howard writes, "It was a turning point in the war for the Western allies,
and it broke the power of the Islamic Turkish Ottoman Empire in Israel at that
time. (Today, we see a revival of Islamic intentions to reestablish their
Caliphate over this land, and throughout the world. I believe it can be said that the Islamic
kingdom is the fourth and dreadful beast of Daniel's vision which caused him so
much distress." Read more about the event by clicking title above.
Howard also shares another message in Simchat Torah in the beautifully updates website. Also inside the Weekly Summary attachment see the prayer requests for the event, for the holy day participants in Israel, and for their own Beer Sheva congregation.

If you would like to know the biblical basis for the Sukkot holy days
Martin Sarvis sites the biblical passages that concern the Feast, and gives
background related to it. As mentioned
earlier, he also gives a great summary of the Welcoming the King of Glory
conference - a vision that was given some 30 years ago to a group of South
Pacific leaders. Read it and the prayer requests for this event which just got
underway. Sarvis writes, "This is, however, the first event of which we are
aware in which leaders from abroad have approached those of the Body in Israel,
sharing a vision they felt was from God—but which would only come to fruition
if the Body here felt it was God’s word and His timing—and took the initiative
preparing a way for it." Also, Sarvis notes that the spiritual attacks
against this event have been "concentrated and relentless". He
invites us to pray over it, providing several prayer points inside the Weekly
Summary attachment

Replacement Theology is found in the most unusual places - even among those who
hold to a future for the Jewish people."
From the Intercessors for Israel in Jerusalem — Ofer Amitai, Eliyahu Ben-Haim and Chuck Cohen — we
have taken excerpts from their last Friday

and the Hamas terrorist overlords in the Gaza Strip have made serious moves
towards reconciliation under Egyptian auspices this past week". There are
prayer points with scripture verses to pray over this development. Also on

for the HaMaayan congregation in Kfar Saba, is also off to the US at the end of
the Sukkot festival, also called the Feast of the Ingathering. Read Sally's short report on their festivities

Evan Glasser of the HaTikva Project made a big
announcement this week on Facebook: "We have set the date for our first
"HaTikva Families" conference focused on promoting adoption and
foster care in Israel. On Feb 1st, 2018 we will be gathering to encourage the
Body of Messiah to take the lead in caring for the orphans and at risk children
in Israel. We can't say everything in one post but suffice it to say that we
are making very good connections and inroads at high-levels as it relates to
this project. Not everyone in Israel may want Jewish believers to be involved
in adoption and foster, but there are MANY who do. Mark your calendars now.
More details to come.
Joel and Teresa Jelski also have big news to
announce with great changes coming in taking on a new ministry role in another
part of the country - a big move that will be accomplished over the next year
in three phases of preparation. You can
read about it, or watch the video inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from
Israeli Ministries. Joel is asking specifically that this sensitive
information not be shared (including the privately viewable video) on any
social media platform - although you are welcome to share through email or
texting your friends which the Jelski's encourage because they need the help of
their friends to undertake the needed ministry preparations.
Jim Schutz is the director of the Joseph
Project, the largest importer of humanitarian aid to Israel. He is a long time
resident of Israel, closely connected with the Messianic believers. That is
important when choosing how to give humanitarian aid to Israel. We always want
a deep connection to the body of Messiah in Israel. Read about the latest ways
the Joseph Project has been blessing the Israeli needy from the southernmost
tip of Israel in Eilat to the northernmost city of Kiryat Shmonah, next to
Lebanon. Read Jim's report inside the Weekly Summary attachment
