“Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit”

Proverbs 27:18 is a promise from God to Christians today - If you take care of the "fig tree" which is a symbol in the timing of Israel's salvation according to Jesus in Matthew 24, their fruit is for you. "As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near." Those Christians who recognize this timing and take care of the fig tree are promised to eat of the fruit of the fig tree. To me, the meaning of that is clear, the fruit of what God has invested into "the people of Israel" which the apostle Paul summarizes in Romans 4-5.

It may be that the #1 problem in the Church today is the spiritual blind spot that so many are left in because they do not see the significance of the body of Messiah in Israel. When we tend, or take care of, the fig tree in Messiah Yeshua in Israel - then our spiritual understanding is like a laser sight, locked in on what God is doing in our days. Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit is a promise of spiritual deiscernment beyond what is available to those who just "don't get it" about Israel ... even more to the point, about the significance of the Israeli body of Messiah that God is raising up. - Donna Diorio

We begin this week with the somber note that urgent prayers are needed for the issue of citizenship of Messianic Jews in Israel. Specifically, we have received notice that the entire Hyde family is at risk as mother and grandmother, Carolyn Hyde is being targeted by the Interior Ministry. Last week we noted that  Suspicions against interior minister piling up — report . Arye Deri the religious head of the Interior Ministry and when the religious rule the Interior Ministry, then the Messianic Jews are targeted even more than normal under an Israeli Interior bureaucracy that is systemically unjust toward believers in Yeshua. Please pray for the Hyde family, their legal representation and for the Ministry of the Interior. Deri has already been to prison once for his corruption and fraud. Please pray for justice to prevail - and for the salvation of those who target the faith of the followers of Israel's Messiah.

Leon Mazin who leads the Haifa Return to Zion Center has a great newsy report in this month's Israel's Restoration Newsletter, which represents the Tikkun network of ministries in Israel.  Leon covered a lot of ground in their activities and outreaches at RTZ-Haifa, but I was struck with this statement, "We have always been a bit conservative, but recently, during congregational prayers, we heard many prophecies and a lot of expressed desires 'to start doing what the Lord shows us to do.' Therefore, I ask for your support in prayer!! "

Mazin was referring to the Prophetic Studio they opened this year, "a workshop - a place where we try, where we compare, where we learn. It is a place where one is not afraid to try to hear the Voice of the Lord! I'm even a little scared to write about this, but we see that it has begun to function! And it has become a 'revolving door' where many can enter, feel God's touch, and as one brother from China prophetically said, "ascend the mountain of the Lord" and go further, renewed in the Word heard from the Creator. . . . We are asking for your intercession and are grateful for your ongoing support. So many of our projects are functioning successfully and achieving their goals because of your generosity!" Maoz Ministries, Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram, speak about the IDF destroying a terror tunnel on the Gaza border. Did you hear about it in the news? It is easy for important news like this to get lost in the overwhelming amount of important news out there, but this tunnel-detecting  technology is truly groundbreaking. It can detect tunnels as deep as 190 feet! (This could be a powerful tool for the US southern border too!). Maoz also suffered a Ransom-ware attack, where hackers seize all of your files, locking you out and holding your computer files for ransom. This is an international plague which has hit individuals, hospitals, police departments and corporations.  So far we have seen it used criminally for money, but imagine what damage can be done using this technology to cripple a nation in war. From the Kerem-el, or God's Vineyard congregation in the Carmel area, the monthly report from their pastors - Daniel Sayag, Yonatan Arnold and Stefan Silver, is all about the recent events their congregation has participated in, including a special trip for their Youth Group, the annual multi-congregational get-together with Arab Chrisians and Messianic Jews in northern Israel, Sukkot, and much more. including prayer requests for the kehila (congregation). Just one excerpt about the Arab-Jewish annual get-together:  "Like every year for the past 30 years, all the congregations of the north gathered together at the Lavie forest in the Galilee to pray, worship, and fellowship as one body in Messiah. This day conference is extremely important to us, as Jewish and Arab Congregations come together and unite as one before God and it is amazing to see how every year the number of congregations and people rise! We certainly see God moving in the north as we continue to pray for the outpouring of God's Spirit in our area and in our land!"

Ron Cantor of Messiah's Mandate writes about the 100th birthday of the Balfour Declaration inside the Weekly Summary attachment and also on video:  "I share a short teaching on GOD TV’s Facebook page about the Balfour Declaration."

Orna Grinman of Ot Oo’Mofet, or A Sign & An Example, has a new blog post about a Holocaust survivor called, She said “Yes”. “I have no feet, I cannot walk. I hardly hear or see, but I am healthy,” declares Rivka Weiss, who spends most of her days in her living room armchair. “And I have good genes, the kind of genes that survived Auschwitz.”

We also have an update from the Lebanese Christian Pastor Najeeb Atteih in Haifa. Najeeb has just undergone hip replacement surgery in Germany, where he is being cared for by friends. . . and where he is also bearing witness to Arab hospital staff about Jesus, living in and loving Israel , and even having a son serving in the IDF presently doing officer training.  I won't go into any more details here in order to preserve the safety of Pastor Atteih, but I urge you to read inside the subscription only Attached DOCX Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries

While on this subject, I would also like to direct you to the special testimony sent to us by Anthony Simon's family in Jerusalem, Voice in the Wilderness. Again, I do not want to share the details because this is speaking to their outreaches into the Arabic Middle East.  You may know that Anthony Simon was killed this year in a pedestrian-vehicle collusion in Erbil. His family is endeavoring to carry on with his work and the report is from a South African brother that is continuing on with them in the ministry of his friend, Anthony Simon.  We are often not able to share with you what is going on in these ministries due to the dangers of evangelizing in Muslim nations. From Revive Israel Asher Intrater shares the coming alignment in the end times between Israel and the church in the video End Time Alignment. (Subtitles in many languages). BOOK ORDER.  Also, Daniel Juster shares on the responsibility of the Messianic Jews and the church to embrace one another in unity, Jews & The Church in Unity.  I heard a version of this last week in Dallas at the Eitz Chaim Messianic congregation as Dan has returned to the US. This was really powerful and connected some dots that I found truly exciting.

"I will not die but live and will proclaim what the Lord has done."  This was Eddie Santoro's confession over himself the past two years as he stood in faith against cancer, and I am sure this is message he had for the "friends and congregations that have stood with us and strengthened us over the past several years as we fought our battle" as he and wife Jackie are just wrapping a speaking tour in the US."  Pray for the Santoros as they continue to the Western US and begin their return to Jerusalem on Nov 15th. I know their family at Ahavat (Love) of Yeshua congregation will be glad for their return.

So much afoot in Beer Sheva for the Yeshua's Inheritance (Nachalat Yeshua) congregation led by Howard and Randi Bass. They take a key part every year in commemorating the anniversary of the ANZAC Beer Sheva Charge and victory - but this year was the 100th Anniversary!  Howard writes, "The city has never had a day like this before!  The PM of Australia and of Israel were present; the Governor-General of New Zealand was there (the NZ gov't has just had a change of PM).  Security was at an all-time employment; the municipality put out a tremendous effort to put on a spectacular day that has received very high remarks from the Aussies (especially) and Kiwis that we have spoken with.  Also the new ANZAC Museum was dedicated, and, thankfully, the ones I know who have been praying and acting for years for it are very pleased!" Also Howard shares these: Brad TV (from Korea) has put out an English subtitled trailer for a movie he is producing about Martin Luther.  He also has posted an interview with me (with Eng sub-titles) on the current state of 'persecution' against the Messianic believers here in Israel.  And, I have posted a reflection about some fake news, since that has become a buzz-word in the U.S. and Israeli culture.
