Shelanu: it means "Ours"

Yeshua is not a foreigner. The time has come for the Israelis to know the truth, and be able to say, 'This Jewish Messiah is Ours, Shelanu! Not an intruder, not an imposter, but a Jew born in Israel, raised as a Jew and who is in truth Israel's Messiah.

This is such a historic opportunity it could rightfully be called a miracle. There has never been an opportunity to broadcast the Good News of the Israeli Jewish Messiah Yeshua before now. It is an amazing and unprecedented breakthrough that is worth rejoicing over and thanking God for making a way. Baruch haba B'Shem Adonai! Blessed is he that comes in the name of the LORD!

Just imagine how the Holy Spirit is going to minister when ordinary Jews and Arabs, from the privacy of their own homes, are able to watch Shelanu-TV in a mix Hebrew and English with Hebrew subtitles. There will be new programming created in Hebrew from ministries across Israel including Israeli Messianic worship music videos.

This is such an exciting development and the Israeli government has already signed the papers allowing Messianic Jewish content to be broadcast in Hebrew. That is a first! A beautiful, wonderful, breathtaking first. Doesn't just hearing about this get your heart pumping a litte faster about what God is about to do?

There is lots to pray over about this: Pray for excellence in the development of the content, anointing on all that put their hands to develop and contribute to this work and of course, pray that "No weapon formed against Shelanu-TV will prosper and every tongue that rises to condemn it, be judged 'null & void'. This is the inheritance of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,' declares the LORD." Isaiah 54:17

Just think about this: Shelanu TV will be on the ground in Israel and able to Film the move of God in the Holy Land! Does that sound like something you want to have a part in? Israel has had a mighty answer to prayer with super-abundant rainfall, but with it has come flooding and the northern town of Nahariya was mightily hit hard, with many rescues needed from homes and business. Guy Cohen in nearby Acco tells us the main street of Nahariya was turned into a "raging river." His congregation in Acco, the Harvest of Asher have pitched in to help with aiding victims of the flood in coordination of the city of Nahariya - but there is still much more to be done from volunteers to clean up water damage, to humanitarian items needs, purchasing relief items from local shops and disaster relief funds.

Guy writes that the "overall needs of the victims are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, we are doing what God allows us to for the people He blesses us to reach with His love. I am asking you to help with what God leads you to do. Another excellent weekly prayer points from Maoz Ministries features, the rain, the taking out of terrorist general Solemani, the threat of a new intifada threatened by Palestinian Authority's aging leader Abbas, and the general security situation throughout Israel's borders with Palestinians. There are prayer points over the rising Antisemitism in all the nations and the call to Jews in western nations to make aliyah to Israel: "Abba, thank You that Jews are safer in Israel than anywhere else. Not "safe" – but safer.  Wake up the Jews in the UK to recognize that they just barely escaped a Corbyn government, and that they continue to live among the millions of their fellow citizens who voted for him and his Labour party. Lord Yeshua, wake up Your Church to its responsibilities to carry Your people back physically, spiritually and even financially."

They continue, "We linked that last prayer burden to a request for a new Israeli government [elections March 2nd] that will make Aliyah a top priority....Remove all stumbling stones and allow the doors of Israel to be open to all Jews.  Reroute as much money as is necessary from Israel's soon-to-be-realized huge natural gas profits to aid in the return and planting of Your people into Your land." And "Concerning the Israeli Messianic Body: This young, growing body is dealing with some challenging issues at this time. The ultra religious and ultra secular sects in Israel show us that both truth without love and love without truth - destroy. "Lord, we thank You for building Your Body directly in the face of hell's gates. Aid the leaders to guard the unity of the Spirit – and not just a nice, but unbiblical, humanistic unity." For the Church: "Lord, open the eyes of Your church to see what You see when You look at Israel – the people, Your patience and the plan.  As they reconnect, help Christians clearly identify between rabbinical Judaism – full of men’s traditions and entirely opposed to Yeshua, and the true Jewish roots from Your Word."

At the Beit Hallel Israel Pochtar writes that they are in the midst of their annual 21 Days of Prayer as a congregation. "We invite you to reply to us with your prayer requests, which we will lift up in prayer every evening collectively with our congregation. There is real power in prayer!" Israel also gives a praise report about their Christmas outreach sharing the real story of Christmas with about 170 Israelis. He writes, "We also gave out more than 130 Bibles wrapped up as Christmas gifts. Nearly everybody in attendance received these gifts with gladness. A few even forgot to receive their gifts and returned in haste afterwards to collect their Bibles! As I saw the joy with which these dear Israelis received their Bibles, a scripture came to mind from Amos 8:11: "The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord." They were also preparing for a mass evangelism event in the Galilee with 1,000 as-yet-unsaved Israelis attending. You can help them with the costs of the event.

There is also  a book feature by Dan Juster That They May Be One and Dan also weighs in on a critical news story:  The International Criminal Court Investigates Israel for War Crimes "...the ICC discredits itself. They remind me of the most liberal judges in America’s courts that make the U. S. Constitution say whatever they want it to say; even the opposite!" He lists some of the reasons.

From the HaCarmel congregation in the north they ask urgent prayers for any revenge attacks on Israel from Iran or its proxies like the Hezballah terrorist group which has specifically threatened to target the entire Haifa region. Dani Sayag writes, "We are not walking in fear, but think it's wise for our community on Mount Carmel to be prepared for any sudden developments."

This goes hand-in-hand with the tidbit we picked up from Arni Klien's ministry letter in later days: "If you count all the missiles that were fired in the last Lebanon conflict, in what is to come we can expect that amount in a day. Given what we have heard from Homefront Command, it will not be possible to intercept all that will be sent against us. The priority in our tactical defense will be strategic locations before the population centers. We’ve been instructed to have sufficient provisions for 33 days."

This is a priority prayer request - not to be prayed in fear, but in faith, knowing that it is GOD'S heart and plan to preserve Israel and to restore Israel to all the promises He has made to them.

Avner Boskey has been writing up a storm and here is his latest: Iran and the Prince of Persia Avner's prophetic insights are also well grounded in the Bible and well documented in the known facts.  This is more important that many in some prophetic circles realize!

The Lebanese pastors of Immanuel Church in Haifa sent a pretty wonderful (long) ministry update of their activities not only in the church, but also in the ministering they do for the refugees in Jordan who are often in heartbreaking situations - loss upon loss. But they go to bring help, speak life and lead even some who are Christians in name only to receive true salvation of the Lord.  They write, " We thank God for the privilege of being able to be His hands and feet and tangibly spread His love to those who are need. We thank each of you as well who prayed for us and supported this ministry financially.  Each gift and donation went to the families."

There is also an update to the Christian soldier who has been staying under court order at their Christian Soldier's Center being discipled and prepared for his judgment in a case too complicated to get into briefly if you have not been following this over the past couple of years. They see God at work even after the courts final decision to send their charge to prison (at a greatly reduced time sentence).  And they write of joyful news of their son Tino's upcoming marriage to Zhanna, an Armenian.

Arni and Yonit Klein write about the signs all around us that we can surely not misread. God is anwering prayers — fast, amazingly and dramatically! What are we to do with that seeing acceleration of the things we know are coming?

Arni writes, "Though we do not know the day or the hour, there is perhaps a factor to help us gauge the time. After the assassination of the Iranian General, our enemies should have no doubt that if they rise up against Israel while Donald Trump occupies the White House, they will be confronted with the full might of the United States. If God gives him four more years, we more than likely can also count on four more years of relative peace. If this line of thought is correct, the big question is, what will we do with the next four years? What will we live for? What will we build? How will we invest all that God has placed in our hands?"

Several of the things the Klein's have seen to answer this for themselves is by opening their home every Thursday from 10:00 to 13:00 to prepare a place for the Presence of the Lord. They also now have their video introduction to the Israel Revealed course and some of the key messages are available on YouTube. We recommend beginning with the three listed as “Foundation Stones.”  The others can be accessed by clicking on the green “A.”

The Klein's live in Poriya Illit, a town overlooking the Sea of Galilee where many Messianic believers decided to call home since the early 20th century. "Because of the number of believers living in our village, this is a logical place from which to start. As various groups would acquire houses, how great if there were a designated facility that could be used by those here and those who will come."

Sally Shiff, intercessor & liaison for Kehilat HaMaayan in Kfar Saba writes with great excitement about how "this year has started out with a bang!" Her homegroup is being attend by "a few on the verge believers" who are taking huge steps toward the faith, like accepting a Hebrew/English Bible, and joining in more congregational events too. She is also rejoicing over a whole family of South Africans whose patriarch is a native Israel who left Israel almost 50 years ago - they all are returning or making aliyah even down to the grandchildren!   

In other news Sally asks, "Did you know that our congregation has a guest house?  Did you also know that we have an internship/volunteer program? It’s a wonderful guest apartment you will love as you visit God’s country.  The cost is significantly less than a hotel and is in the center of Kfar Saba" Contact her if you want to volunteer your time and talent with our congregation. Prayers for a miracle for Ruth.| Olga Bikas has longstanding severe back pain. please keep praying for Olga. Sadly, she is not getting better and recently she has even felt worse for a period of time.

Please continue to pray for all the Israeli ministry leaders who contracted influenza after a conference | Pray for Rania Sayegh asks for prayer of restoration of strength, energy, and complete healing. | Ronit Bender says my heart valve  is still leaking but my lungs are fine. I totally have peace about my health, although it is far from great.  I still appreciate prayer, as I need it. I am very grateful they let me travel in October and November both to Australia and Holland. Please continue to pray for Ronit
