next week during Christmas Week. I need some down time.

Never before has my spirit been warring as it has the last few months. So much is at stake, and it feels as though the USA is being weighed in the divine balance. We can remember when our son, Samuel, was on life support after the house fire and we were told by many of our godly friends to fight, to contend for his resurrection. None of the credible prophetic voices said that he would be resurrected but that we should fight as none of our prayers would fall to the ground.
The meaning of the word “contend” has been highlighted to me lately. At the end of the book of Job God confronts Job and forcefully asks, “Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!” (40:2)
Contending with God and together with God is different. The meaning of “contend” can denote a struggle against an idea, a person, or contending in a competition. It depicts a wrestling to win. After Sammy died I spent years contending with God. “He promised me…and now…wasn’t our faith enough?” How much prayer is enough? Then I came to a rude awakening. God is not in opposition to me or holding out on me. We are on the same team. We are both fighting the effects of a fallen world. We are called to a partnership in establishing his kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. We are made in his image, and it is incumbent upon us to take up the authority he has given us. Even though the Israelites were told by God that he had given them the Promised Land, they still had to go into the land and defeat the enemies. Even though it was written by Jeremiah that Israel’s captivity was to be 70 years, Daniel fasted, repented and prayed for this word to come about.
Our human bodies contend for life until the end. How can we do any less
in the battles we face today? Let us contend (declare, affirm, maintain, plead,
espouse, profess, insist) until all that God has promised us both personally,
corporately as his body, and world-wide comes to pass. His kingdom come and His
will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Let us not give up. Against all hope
Abraham believed and did not waver but was strengthened in his faith. God’s
love and truth will prevail. No one can thwart his plans!

Arni Klien of Emmaus Way writes, "The darkness we are witnessing, manifest in and through the systems of the world, is the result of how we who have trusted in the Name of the Lord have ignored eternal foundations. The best way I know to exemplify this is in light of the Church’s relationship to Israel. What is not clear about the words in Genesis 12:3 that tell of a bitter curse that comes on those who lightly esteem the children of the promise? In the US with the whole family, Shani & Kobi were thrilled to celebrate daughter Nevaeh's Bat Mitzvah in Birmingham, AL at Rabbi David and Leslye Schneier's Messianic synagogue. Something unique for Nevaeh in the midst of extreme lockdowns in Israel that really would have put a cramp on her special day. In other news from the Maoz ministry is the need for some U.S. positions to be filled by qualified people looking for a place to serve. Chaya and Avi Mizrachi in addition to leading the Adonai Roi congregation
in Tel Aviv, lead Dugit — Fishers of Men. They write about the miracle they see unfolding in
Israel as Covid lock people in, the Gospel broke out in all sorts of online
viewing of Messianic livestreaming of services and other online video content

In writing on the Chanukah menorah he notes it "is supposed to be in a place where everyone who passes by a Jewish home will see it. But many Jews, particularly in the West, will think long and hard before being bold enough to not hide their light this year. The rise of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism makes displaying a Chanukiah a dangerous thing to do. Yet in Israel Jews need no longer hide or fear. God of Israel, in Your love, draw the Jews to their home quickly(Jer. 31:3). Open their eyes and scare the exile out of them (Jer. 50:4-5).
Gilad Rosinger of Radiant Israel has a Radiant Israel Facebook or YouTube channel where you can find the latest Galilee Awakening IV : REMNANT RISING Broadcast. He writes, "We are called to be the light of the world as the remnant, so it is our time to take a stand! We cannot let the deception and darkness that has filled our world cloud the truth. NOW is the time to be set on fire by the Holy Spirit."

met at PayPal Morningstar.org.il for donations. The write about the ongoing Covid lockdowns,
" In the Body of Messiah in Israel there are different views as to how we
should evaluate all the current restrictions and the promotion of the Covid 19
vaccine. We need God’s discernment to put the dividing line between the true
and fake news but there is no doubt that the system of the antichrist is
already preparing people’s minds to accept the narrative of the authorities and
to test the populations’ obedience. We need God’s insight to know when
obedience to authorities crosses the scriptural boundaries beyond which a true
believer cannot go. Please pray for wisdom from the Lord."
This is true of us all! It is complicated and individuals need to be led by
the LORD for themselves in the matter.
Rania Sayegh, Hope-Nazareth, whose prophetic dreams and visions we have featured in the last several months writes about the "suddenlies" of God. They have a suddenly in finding a property that will meet all their their needs for expanding regular prayer meetings and also host training meetings with healing rooms for the women and youth. She writes, "I want to share more about this vision with you in this VIDEO. The building will have 3 floors, each 80-85 square meters, as well as a spacious roof that can host at least 80 people. The total land included is 310 square meters with private parking. There is also a large parking area nearby. The building will be located at a high place, overlooking the Jezreel Valley and Mount Tabor." They are raising funds which the deposit of $350,000 USD is needed before the end of the year to secure it, then 3.5 years to pay the remainder (approximately $300,000 per year). Will you pray with us and ask God if He wants you to sow into this unique opportunity for the expansion of our ministry in the land?

Carolyn & Richard Hyde in Poriya Ilit - the Interior Ministry really comes after this family big time. Now they are after their daughter-in-law, Liora, who just delivered her first baby. Please pray for them. Richard is working on a new discipleship project, while Carolyn is fully recovered from the stroke and daughter Deborah recovering. Carolyn & Richard will be in FL 1/8-10 (visit their site for more open dates). She got a word for how to pray for America: the word is Goshen and He spoke to me about the type of light that emanates from there.
Howard & Randi Bass fresh off 3 wks in the US are in isolation, &
enjoyed the Thanksgiving & Christmas holiday "in the air". Howard
writes, "This year we cannot go to Bethlehem for the Christmas service at
Immanuel Church, which we have been doing since 2003 as a testimony of the
truth of Jesus being the Prince of Peace, and true reconciliation is found only
in Him."
He also sends what is known as an "unspoken prayer request" writing,
"We are going through a challenging time here, and our hope and trust is
in God to work it out for His glory and purpose. I can't really write too much
about it, but we believe that the Lord's way -- not necessarily how we might
like it -- will prevail in His own wisdom. One thing I can say: anything that
we experience here, God does even more so in how we relate to Him and react to
difficult situations. That helps keep things in perspective as He puts us
through various trials and offenses. Won't it be great when we will no longer
offend anybody -- or be offended -- even unintentionally?!"

Yeshua is the Basis of True Fellowship of Christians & Jews
I know that American Christians see the expensive, intensely emotional TV ads
raising funds for Holocaust survivors in horrible poverty that the Fellowship
of Christians and Jews spend huge amounts on commercials during all the
holidays. They spend major money on those commercial buys...and major money of
funding their own salaries. Even though their commercials assure you that recipients
are told that Christians donated the money to bless them, they don't every see
a Jewish believer in Yeshua handing the much needed humanitarian aid into their
hands. That matters.
It is not that
IFCJ are not doing good, it is just that YOU can do so much better meeting the
needs of Holocaust survivors - physical and spiritual - by donating to the
Israeli Messianic ministries. It is really impactful for Jews
to see with their own eyes that other Jews believe in Yeshua...and those
believer Jews are full of love for Jews who don't believe. Almost every single
Messianic Jewish congregation in Israel does humanitarian outreach to Holocaust
survivors. I know high profile Christians like Mike Huckabee encourage you to
give to IFCJ, but he is just ignorant of how much better your donations could
benefit the Holocaust needy when passing through the distribution hands of
Jewish BELIEVERs in Yeshua. I urge you to reconsider your giving. —
