The
Jerusalem Gate
A new physical entrance to Jerusalem
is being built today that Asher saw a spiritual parallel to last week and told
about in a teaching recorded November 4th. The entryway is a spectacular
stringed suspension bridge for the Jerusalem Light Rail system which is
designed artistically to resemble a harp. In fact it is being called David’s
Harp by some. There are cables appear as the strings of a harp stretching
upward toward heaven and soaring over 380 feet above the city of Jerusalem. The
bridge spans over a 3 kilometer (1.864 Miles) stretch of land at the Western
entrance to Jerusalem and it’s located where the Israeli Supreme Court, the
Israeli Knessett (Parliament) and Hebrew University sit. On the other side of
the bridge is an ancient monastery called the Valley of the Crucifixion. Plans are to build a business district center
for Israel’s high tech industry to be in this central location that already
ties together the seats of Israel’s
power and influence in its capitol Jerusalem.
Wednesday and Thursday (11/3-4), while prayer walking with Betty
Intrater and some prayer partners near this site at 6 am, Asher began to see
something profoundly spiritual in this physical Jerusalem Gate, or gateway
pointing to Heaven. It excited him enough to go to video to share it on
Thursday, and it excited me enough to go through the video to get a loose but
accurate summary to share with subscribers her. This is just the gist of all Asher
shared in the video for RITG supporters. I urge subscribers to watch the video
and digest with prayerful consideration all he is saying in this message. It
certainly rings true to me, and in fact, dovetails with something the Spirit
showed me (see below) on the same Thursday that dovetails beautifully with what
Asher speaks to. The invitation from Asher is to be praying with the believers
in Israel over these things:. "We want to open that spiritual gate over
Jerusalem, because I believe it will be a blessing for all."
Summary
In Genesis 28 when Jacob sees a ladder
and angels ascending and descending to and from Heaven to earth. He saw that
and said, How awesome is this place! It
is none other than the House of God and the Gate of Heaven. It was not the geography that created the
opening, but it was an opening to Heaven - a place of spiritual opening and
closing - because Jacob was in Covenant with God.
In Psalm 24:7-10 the
concept of gates and openings is developed much more. Asher says in Israel they pray this
passage because it is connected to a prayer network, Welcoming the
King of Glory, which is led by
Tel Aviv Messianic leader Avi Mizrachi.
Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O
you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall
come in. 8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up,
you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of
hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
So there are gates in Heaven and
they are connected to us. There is
something about us lifting up our heads to heaven, lifting our eyes and
hearts to Heaven, inviting the LORD to come - the King of Glory to come.
[It is critical that Israel is
calling out for the return because speaking to Jerusalem in Matthew 23:39
Yeshua said, “For I tell you that you
will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of
the Lord.’” There is a call to
Yeshua that must come from
Jerusalem.]
When we pray, when we praise, when we act in
righteousness, when we believe in faith, when we speak according to the Word of
God, it is opening something in Heaven that the Presence of God, the Holiness
of God and ultimately Kingdom of God and the King Yeshua can come in to this
world.
There are three key words: Key, Doors and Gates. A key only does two things, it
closes and it opens. When we are talking about the keys to Heaven we are
talking about something spiritual.
Then there is a gate and a door.
They are similar but a door opens to a smaller area and a gate opens to a larger
area. You put a gate around a city or your property, but a door goes to your
own home or something of your personal possession. There is something about a
door that is personal to you, and a gate that is wider and opening to a lot of
people. There are spiritual keys,
spiritual doors and spiritual gates and we can be involved by the spiritual
principles of these things.
In Matthew 16:18-19 we learn that there
are not only gates to Heaven but there are gates to hell - things that open and
access the things of hell! "17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh
and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And
I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church,
and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it."
We have to be careful
about what we open and close. Asher suggests we pray as he does every day: Lord, we want to open the gates of Heaven in our lives and close the
gates of hell. AMEN! Nobody else has
the keys to YOUR life but you. You
want to cut off the influences of hell in your life, and give access to the
influences of Heaven. We submit first of all to God: Not my will but Your Will. But then when He leads us, there is a
response where He has given us keys in our life. So what we open and close in
the physical realm affects the spiritual realm.
In this passage of Matthew 16, it
is the earthly part that comes first: we are the ones binding and loosing.
Asher equates it to a door between adjoining hotel rooms. There is the ability
to lock and unlock the door on both sides. Spiritually, as soon as you say,
"God" He has already opened the door! It is not God that is closing
the door on your life! He wants it opened, but you've got the key to open the
door on your side.
This has everything to do with our
hearts. There is something we do that gives access to the influence of Heaven
or of hell to our lives. People can pray for you, but only we have the key to
open the door to Heaven on our own lives. [As James 4:7-8 affirms: “Therefore
submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to
you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you
double-minded.”]
I am leaving good material out, but the video ends in the book of
Revelation with the keys to authority to open and close the doors of Heaven and
collectively open the gates of Heaven. Including this from Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If
anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with
him, and he with Me. Revelation 4:1 After
these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the
first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up
here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
Asher: There is an initiative
that does not start with you and me it starts with God. He is coming to us. He
has already opened the door on His side and He is knocking on the door of your
heart. Wherever you are right now, Yeshua is knocking on the door of your
heart and saying, Open, open, open, open! Then there is a fellowship, a
sharing, He is talking to you, giving you instructions. This is not about you just opening and closing whatever you think. We
fellowship with Him and then
we have direction of what to open and close.
Your heart is connected with Heaven. If you open your heart, you open a
door in Heaven, and when a lot of us together open our hearts, we open a gateway,
a gate in Heaven. One person opens a
door, many together open a gate.
For the first time in this
generation there are Messianic Jews, Christian Arabs and International
Christians in and around Jerusalem, praying together, agreeing together and we
want to open a gate to Heaven over Jerusalem. You can do that in your life, in
your city and your region, and you can agree with us for this open gateway of
Heaven to be opened over Jerusalem, which from the biblical viewpoint is the
capitol of the whole world, not just Israel. I believe if we will do this
there will be an opening in Heaven that will pour out an influence, a window of
Heaven that will release the blessings of Heaven through our prayers into this
earth across the nations.[Message starts at 44:30

Donna: This message especially ignited me because
the same day Asher recorded it last Thursday, at 8 am in Dallas I began to
write on Facebook about something I had just noticed that morning for the first
time in Isaiah 52:8. It is a passage I return to often about the time when
the "watchmen" will see "eye to eye." I believe these are connected spiritual matters, hot off the
presses and important to all of us who pray for the salvation of all Israel,
the worldwide spiritual harvest and the return of the LORD. The following
is what I saw when looking at the Isaiah verse again:
The promise in Isaiah 52:8 has always intrigued me because as far away
from agreement with each other as we still are, the promise seems quite
impossible. For the first time last Thursday morning, my eye was captured by
something new: "Your watchmen shall lift up the voice; with
the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the
LORD shall bring again Zion.”
The new thing that jumped out at me was the phrase "the voice"
- Hebrew 6963 qôl which can mean any voice - men, animals, or God. The most
intriguing fact about the voice to me is found in its FIRST USE in Genesis 3, "And they heard the voice H6963 of the
LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife
hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the
garden.
I believe "the voice" that the watchmen “see eye to eye” with is
God's Voice, because we cannot all come into agreement simply with each
other's voices. Today as I consider
this, I believe that is indeed impossible and such agreement can only come when
we are all collectively as individuals are in agreement with what God's
Voice is speaking to us. That is a work of God!
Look at the beginning of Isaiah
52 where God speaking specifically to Jerusalem, calling it Zion: "Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O
Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth
there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean."
Then in Isa 52:6 God identifies
Himself as "the voice" speaking to Israel: "Therefore my people shall know My name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am He that does speak:
behold, it is I. 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of Him that brings good
tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes
salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns!
As the body of the LORD in the
earth, we are Yeshua’s hands and feet on earth and He is our Head, directing
our way. The feet that are bringing the good news on the mountains of Israel
are the believers in Israel: the Messianic Jews, the Christian Arabs and the
Christians from the nations in one accord.
These are the watchmen over the Word of God, speaking by the direction of the
Voice of God by the Holy Spirit.
Isa 52:8 Your watchmen shall lift up the Voice; with the Voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. There
is the timing of when it is possible for all of us to see eye to eye with God
and speak in one accord together with what He is saying – that is WHEN the LORD
shall bring again Zion. I take that to mean when the LORD restores Israel to
faith by Yeshua, Zion is returned to Israel.
Verse 6, “therefore My people
shall know My name...that I am he that does speak” Do the Jews not know the name of God? Sure they
do. But they don't know the Voice of Yeshua is the Voice of God until He
reveals it to them: "I am He that
does speak: behold, it is I."
When Zion's watchmen and those whose feet are on the mountains of Israel
bringing the good news are speaking in agreement with "the Voice,"
this is what causes the Jewish people to hear, and know I (Yeshua) am He that
does speak: behold, it is I."
How
much does this verse remind you of when Sha'ul was knocked off his horse on the
way to Damascus to persecute the Jewish believers who had fled from Jerusalem?
Acts 9:4 He (Shaul) fell to the ground
and heard A VOICE say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?” 5 “Who are You, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am
Yeshua, whom you are persecuting,” He replied.
Sha'ul was persecuting the Jews who believed in Yeshua but Yeshua was putting Himself in oneness
with the believers Shaul was persecuting. That right there is a pretty
amazing thought in itself.

congregation – Kerem El —a northern congregation associated with the Carmel
congregation writes about the “busy and
challenging” but “fruitful and victorious” past couple of months including the
baptism of 3 men in October: “Please keep these men in your prayers!” The
congregation which has been limited in meetings due to covid restrictions, were
able to hold an outdoor Sukkot complete with a Chinese feast. “It was a very joyful evening, and we even
had some non-believers attend with their family members.”
Also in Oct they taught a series of
“Believers in the Battlefield.” The write, “We felt a significant rise in the
level of spiritual attack in recent months. This is evident in our lives as
leadership, in the lives of many of our members and we've heard the same thing
from colleagues and other ministries in Israel and around the world. We felt
that it was timely and a clear direction of the Holy Spirit to teach a series
about spiritual warfare from Ephesians 6:10-18, so we did just that.”
Two members battling aggressive
forms of cancer: “After this long and harsh season, they both see the light at
the end of the tunnel with one being declared cancer free, and the other seeing
very significant progress towards healing. Both of these dear people completely
surrendered themselves to the Lord during this battle, and has worked in them
and through in amazing ways in the process. We praise the Lord for His
faithfulness and healing! ALSO relaunch of the Kerem-El youth group meetings
sees a special joining together with the youth of Carmel congregation.
In a prayer request that is
significant to ALL of the Israeli ministries currently, Kerem-El asks for
prayer “for provision for all the ministry's financial needs in 2022, above and
beyond what we expect, especially for the Father's Heart campaign, the ability
to hire another staff member and the annual retreat we hope to hold in 2022.”
They write, “As we prepare our budget for 2022, would you
prayerfully consider partnering with Kerem-El?” (DD: My emphasis added)

aid certification course for volunteers who work on the streets with Moti Cohen

Lastly, Guy Cohen of the Acco Harvest of Asher congregation writes about
Hebrews 11, “a testimony of how the Fathers of the faith lived. Through their
examples of how they walked with God we, Yeshua’s disciples, can understand the
way through which we can live our lives by faith. . . . Throughout the bible we
find many examples of going forth (going out); as God commanded Abraham in Genesis 12; Lech Lecha - a command
in Hebrew meaning “go” or “leave”. I believe that the Lech Lecha for the
Believers in Yeshua here in Acco, Israel; our command to go out, is to remain
here in the land, in this area even as there is an attempt to vomit us out.
Our Lech
Lecha is to stay where we are; despite testing and trials, accusation and
judgment; sticking to the flesh like tar. I believe as we are cleansed by the
blood of Yeshua; those things are washed from us and leave us with the ability
to reflect the love of God in our local community. Again, our going out is to
remain, reflecting the light and love of God. When the enemy tries to throw
dirt against you the only way to come out clean is by Yeshua’s blood and
forgiveness toward our accusers. This is what will bring the fruit; this is
what will bring revival. This is how we can reflect His love in our
communities.

tired these days: probably as a result of a combination of factors: my age,
stress of the days of running to the bomb shelter, work load in the ministry,

grateful that Olga is feeling better these days! Though the doctors never found
the cause of the dizziness that put her in hospital a month ago, they did rule
out major issues like brain tumors, heart problems, etc., so this is already
comforting. Olga’s back also keeps improving and she is able to walk more outside
now than she did before.
