The Five Pillars | Arrows From Zion 11/6/2019

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God,
and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God
and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down
out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
Revelation 3:12

The Five Pillars of Eschatology
by Daniel C. Juster, Restoration from Zion

The doctrine of the last days is very important because according to one’s interpretation of the last days or eschatology, one’s orientation to life varies. What are the five pillars:

Pillar #1 Worldwide Passionate Love for God | We must see a people of God in worldwide revival in passionate love for God the Father and his Son Yeshua.
Pillar # 2. Profound and Deep Unity | The people of God will come into profound and deep unity leading to cooperation in cities, regions, nations and international.   Or simply, we can say that the second pillar is that the people of God see the fulfillment of Yeshua’s prayer for unity
Pillar #3. The Gospel of the Kingdom Preached to all nations (ethnic groups) | The Return of Yeshua will take place after the Gospel of the Kingdom has been adequately preached to all nations (ethnic groups).
Pillar #4. Before the Return of Yeshua Israel must be Made Jealous so that she will turn to Yeshua | Romans 9-11 and Romans 11 especially provides us with very important information about the return of Yeshua.
      Pillar #5.
God will Raise up a Powerful International Leadership | God will raise up a powerful international leadership of the last days to lead the Church into the fulfillment of the four other pillars.

Some think that we should avoid the doctrine of eschatology because it is a difficult subject that divides believers.  They would say, “Let’s just affirm that Jesus is coming back again, that he will raise the dead and transform believers, and then we will live with Him in glory forever.”
Well, this is certainly a true statement of some basic points of the Bible’s teaching.  That we cannot know more than this used to be my position after I came to a state of “eschatological skepticism” when I was 19 years old.  In my early 20s, however, I come to see that the thrust of the New Covenant Scriptures presents more important themes about the last days that really do affect how we live.  From the ages of 22-33, my understanding more fully took shape.
In the above series of posts, I lay out what I came to believe.  This is also the position of the Tikkun Global and its connected ministries and many also the position of many other partners in our efforts.  Many came to the same conclusions as I without any influence from me!   Actually, we are recovering an older view that had great influence from the mid 18th century until the end of the 19th century but was replaced by a pessimistic eschatology in the 20th century.
I call this a classic view.  Basically, it asserts that there is unity in the Scriptures.  The coming of Yeshua brought the reality of the Kingdom of God.  The Good news of the Kingdom is the invitation to enter the realm of the Kingdom by submitting one’s life to the rightful King, the King of Israel and the nations.   The Kingdom of God has broken into this world, and if we do submit to the King as Lord, He forgives our sin and fills us with His Spirit.  He enables us to live a godly life of obedience.
However, the Kingdom is only here partially.  It will not come in fullness until His second coming.  We now have the Spirit, the gifts, membership in his new community and so much more.  He puts everything in our lives in the right order.  However, our desire is to see his return. That return is contingent on the fulfillment of five pillars.   We summarize here but then in the next posts will take each individually.  We are seeking to be part of and to foster a five pillars movement.  These five pillars are the foundation of eschatology, and all else has to be understood in the context of these five, including last days’ trials and victories portrayed in the prophets and the Book of Revelation.
This classic eschatology is based on a desire to see the return of Yeshua, longing for his return (Titus 2:13)  We desire to live in such a way that history is moved forward to the day of his return (hastening the day of God the day of his coming II Peter  3:11) Before Yeshua returns we have to see these five.  First, people of God all over the earth are passionate about Yeshua and are in revival.  This view of a last days mighty revival goes back to the Puritans of the 1600s.  This revival will lead to fulfilling the destiny of the Church to his second coming.
Secondly, we must see the Body of Believers come into unity and fulfill the prayer of Yeshua that his people would be one, loving and serving one another.  Then the world will believe that the Father sent the Son.  This is connected to and intertwines with revival.
Third, we must see the work of world evangelism reach every people group with an adequate witness.  This side of the second coming, the Gospel must be preached to all nations (ethnicities) and then the end of this age will come and the subsequent establishment of the Age to Come.  (Matthew 24:14).
Fourthly, we Jewish believers in Yeshua with the Gentile followers of Yeshua must bring Israel to jealousy leading to life form the dead (the second coming; Romans 11:11-15).  Israel is still God’s elect people and all his elect in Yeshua form all nations will join with the Messianic Jews to see all Israel saved.
Fifth and last, and an obvious corollary is that there must be a leadership throughout the world that has the influence to lead the Body of Believers to bring the fulfillment of the first four pillars.  This is implied in Ephesians 4 that the leaders with the five functions equip or align the Body until we come to the unity of faith, “to mature adulthood to the measure of the stature of Messiah’s fullness.

This is an optimistic eschatology.  It is not saying that we will take over the whole world and rule before the Messiah returns.  It is saying that we will be a victorious people accomplishing the work that God has set for us to do leading to his second coming and the conversion of the nation.

I invite you to go deeper into this topic, by purchasing my book Israel, The Church and the Last Days.

Claude and Michelle Ezagouri send an update from the Morning Star Fellowship in Tiberias with a focus on breakthroughs - especially following their 2-day "movement-in-worship" workshop to help their people be free to express themselves in worship of the Lord. Also they are encouraged about their discipleship group and the development of activities with groups from the nations.. . " Along these lines we are getting ready for the 9 consecutive days of 24/7 worship this month in our building together with worshippers from the Far East."

In their prayer requests they are seeking to break cultural, generational and language barriers within our congregation "In a desire to strengthen unity in our congregation we are encouraging sincere and open communication."

Joseph Magan, who is the founder of KehilaNews.AllIsrael.com/ writes about reaching their 8th year anniversary providing original articles, blogs, teachings, and videos to be a representative body-wide voice of the Messianic community in Israel. By far, this is my favorite news source out of the Messianic community in Israel. However, they are operating on a minimal budget as donations this years are well below years past. Most readers falsely assume Kehila News is well funded and backed by large donors but the truth is, Joseph writes, "...we are only supported by a small percentage of our readers who give between $5 and $500. There is no large anchor donor or organization that covers our expenses."
This is a most worthy MINISTRY that deserves support! Here are a couple of the features from the past week:

Barrage of rockets from Gaza hits Israel over the weekend | Kehila News Israel Staff | November 4th, 2019 |Within less than an hour, over 11 rockets were fired at Sderot during the evening of November 1. No one was hurt, as the alarms went off and everyone ran ...

Israel Pochtar gives an update on a breakthrough in their main required permit for the new congregational building...so now they can "conduct our humanitarian efforts from our new building" but are requesting prayers for " removing the remaining obstacles, so we can use our new church building for worship services."

In his post-evangelism event, Pochtar reports that the 450 people brought together during Sukkot got an overwhelming response: " when we called people to stand up for the prayer of salvation, the whole auditorium stood up." Praise the Lord. " Now we are busy with the follow-up work organizing post evangelism ALPHA Discipleship Course to enable those who were touched at the event to come to our weekly meetings, and for two months we will be guiding them through the scriptures, teaching them the foundations of our faith, how to experience a true encounter with God and build a strong fellowship with Him through our faith in Yeshua."

Howard Bass of the Beer Sheva Inheritance of Yeshua congregation has traveled to the US with Randi for some family matters and for participating in the Jewish Voice Messianic Leadership Roundtable. In the congregation, they are dealing with the tender subject of the recent suicide of a young Messianic believer that many of their young people knew. "We wanted the subject to be in the light, on the table, and not remain something hidden or taboo. It is important that they know they can talk with someone, should there be a need, and also to be of some help in coming along someone who may be struggling with depression or with other issues that prompt thoughts of taking one's own life. Not all causes are merely emotional or spiritual, but we want to be aware of the growing trend of suicide, even within the Body of Messiah, and even by pastors and other leaders and influencers."

There was also a fun trip to Jerusalem for about half the congregation for a day to see the sights, some of which have never even been to Jerusalem! Also Howard writes about the archeological discovery at a Christian site in the western Negev and many other newsy items. Plus this new man-made lake in Beer Sheva, 2nd largest lake in Israel See

From the Kerem-el (God's Vineyard) congregation in Carmel, they celebrated the 10th Anniversary with Dani and Luanne Sayag sharing the vision God gave them for it from Micah 7: 14-15. They also write about the twice a year event of a congregational Shabbat dinner where "over 100 members and their family members (including non-believers) gather together to say the blessing over the Shabbat and share the meal together in the fellowship of believers."

In their prayer requests: they are several teachers short for the Shabbat School children's classes. They have 3 new babies in the congregation, ask prayers for the families also for the children in general who are exposed to many unbiblical teachings in schools; pray for the young in faith to be willing to begin discipleship and to walk in the Spirit for life. Finally for financial provision to keep the congregation growing and thriving.

Lastly, an invite from Ron Cantor to the first ever Tikkun Conference Nov 15-16 in Jacksonville, FL. with Dr. Michael Brown, Rabbi Jonathan Bernis, Ward Simpson, and our host, Pastor Stovall Weems will join Ron Cantor in ministering the Word. Got word from Avi Mizrachi today he'll be there too. Special announcement, and you will be the first to hear it. This is a game-changer in Israeli evangelism!  The entrance is free, but you must register.

Prayer Insight for Current Events Related to Israel

This comes from a prophetic worshipper in the Carmel Congregation whose identity must be held back, but the person sends out regular emails from their Houses of Beauty ministry on Mt Carmel, Israel theriverofgod@gmail.com

As I was praying one morning, the LORD asked me a question, “Do you really understand the issue that is at stake between Netanyahu and Gantz?  You have been asking me for unity between them, but have you really considered what you are asking? Take another look at it.”  His challenge brought up the following questions in my mind.  What is your take on this?

Why does Netayahu believe his allegiance to the orthodox is more important than working with Gantz, which would form a majority government?  Why does Gantz refuse to partner with the orthodox at all? Why is Netanyahu willing to hold into his allegiance to the orthodox community, even if it means committing political suicide? Why are both Gantz and Netanyahu trying to cobble together a government of minorities, which most of the country doesn’t want, rather than committing to work together, which most of the country does want?

Both are military strategists, so that’s not the major problem.
Both want a strong Israel, so that’s not the major problem.
Both are proud, so that is a problem.
Both think they are right, and that’s a problem.

But primarily, Gantz is more secular and Netanyahu is more orthodox, and neither will compromise on their core spiritual/religious values. Thus Israel is in the middle of a “religious” political war.

So what is causing Netanyahu to maintain his loyalty to the Orthodox community at so high a cost? What could mean more to him than being Prime Minister? That is hard to imagine.
Perhaps he is simply loyal, and keeping his word to his constituency is very important to him.
Perhaps he is taking a long view and looking into the future when he might again need the support of the orthodox.
Perhaps he is ideologically more connected with them than we realize.

Or perhaps Netanyahu believes that the prayers of the Orthodox are crucial to his success and Israel’s viability as a nation. Let me explain.

I saw a documentary, some months ago, in which a 14-year-old Orthodox boy was asked why the Orthodox don’t fight in Israel’s army. He said something like this, “We protect Israel through prayer.  It is our belief that our prayers, the prayers of those who are faithful to God, keep Israel safe.  Praying is our military duty. Without our prayers, how could God continue to protect Israel?”

Many of the Orthodox believe they are like the faithful remnant. Amongst them stand the righteous ones on the earth. It is their duty to protect Israel from the wrath of God and to preserve God’s goodness on earth.

So … is it possible that Netanyahu believes that his relationship with the Orthodox, as they pray for Israel, keeps Israel safe?  Does he believe the Orthodox prayers are a weapon promoting Israel’s safety, as much, or even more, than he believes in Israel’s military prowess?  Does his allegiance to the Orthodox come from his belief that God is more important to the well-being of Israel than anything else?

Our political stalemate takes on a new dimension with these thoughts.
On the negative side, if Gantz wins and Israel gains a secular government, what will happen to our nation? What will happen to the way we honor Shabbat, our holy days, etc? If we become a secular nation, like all the other nations, how will God respond to us? On the positive side, if Gantz wins and the Orthodox are no longer controlling immigration, will Messianic Jews be able immigrate to Israel, to make aliyah, without restriction, and how will God respond to that?
But if Netanyahu wins, and the Orthodox remain in power, will they continue to fight against the Messianic movement?  And on the positive side, will they fight to keep Shabbat holy and the holy days holy, and will they fight to maintain Israel’s uniqueness, as they see it, as a country set apart for YHVH, and how will God respond to all of that?

Where should we, as believers in Yeshua, stand on this?  What should we be praying? We also believe that we are the faithful remnant. We also believe our prayers help protect Israel and the world.  We also believe God listens to us, and responds to us. We also believe our loyalty to Him is important and that our obedience to Him matters greatly.  We also believe He loves us deeply. Our prayers matter greatly.

Here is my prayer.  What is yours? Please write to me and let me know, if you would like to do that.
Dear Yeshua, This is a perfect storm, and You are the only One who can calm it.  We need Your Revelation.  We need Your Truth.  We need Your Righteousness.  We need Your Love and Acceptance.  We need Your Presence.  Come, Lord Yeshua, COME! Iran and its cohorts threaten us externally.  Internally, we are split. We have come to the end of our not-yet-believing-in-You road. We need Your Help!
Please transform our minds so that we can receive Your Wisdom and Your Righteousness, Your Love and Your Mercy, Your Grace and Your Discipline, Your Truth and Your Forgiveness.  Help us to see beyond ourselves and see You!  We need the full depths of Your Revelation to dawn in our midsts, and bring us home to Your Salvation.  We need YOU!  We need You Now!
Come, Yeshua, Come!  Come, Mashiach, COME!  Hallelujah! Praise You, LORD GOD, for Your Faithfulness!Thank You, for Your Peace, Your Profound Love and Your Presence. We feel Your Heart now and we await Your Glory in a way we cannot imagine. Amen and amen.

Here's My 2¢

Above is a screen save of my article in the latest issue of the Messianic Times. This is not that article, but here I'm giving further thoughts on the issues that came out of researching the facts of the case.

Las Vegas Messianic Congregation Targeted,  Terrorist Arrest Made

Did you know that this summer, one month after the El Paso Mall shooting and the Dayton, Ohio Antifa shooter, there were 50 preemptive terror arrests made? Now even more so. Were these real threats of terrorism or politically-driven "security theater" events? We have to ask these questions. We should distrust how hate speech online may easily be getting exploited for political purposes.

There was another arrest November 1 in Pueblo, Colorado of the state's second-oldest synagogue. This too  bears striking resemblance  the Messianic Times story I just did, Terror Target: Las Vegas Messianic Synagogue.

My deepest concern is what is happening between the people spewing hate speech on the web and the FBI OCE's (Online Covert Employees). No one seems to be asking for any accountability at that level.

Pamela Geller also expressed concerns in the facts that emerged after the Garland terror attempt at her "Draw Muhammad" event. Geller wondered if the OCE egged on the terrorists to commit an attack against her specifically. The OCE who had been encouraging the terrorists online was actually present watching the attack scene in Garland, but no FBI agents were sent to thwart the attack and only three hours notice of the attack was given to the Garland, Texas police. Why?

I have real concerns about that same types of issues in the Las Vegas arrest. I wonder when and how the 24-year old arrested in that case transitioned from ranting about illegal immigrants and LGBT to also hating Jews. In 2016 there were no mentions of Jews so how did focus develop? How Conor Climo get focused in his many terroristic fantasy-plans on the only Messianic congregation in Nevada? Quite honestly, I wonder if the ADL's Center on Extremism online trackers, or COE's, had anything to do with that.

I wonder the same with the latest arrest on November 1 in Colorado, because again the hate speech morphed into operational after 2 OCE's who had been communicating with the 27-year old online met him in person. They brought him explosives and then he was busted. What did the online conversations consist of that led to that critical moment?

As Pamela Geller said, "
While I do believe that undercover FBI agents have to play along with the jihadis they’re dealing with, because in order to be in an informant you have to have credibility, it’s a whole other thing if you’re encouraging and cheering on the proposed murder of Americans who are standing in defense of the freedom of speech, and then not doing anything about it."

Would either of these two men have taken it to the execution level without the moral and practical support of the FBI OCE's? Would Pamela Geller's terror attackers focused on her and attempted to attack if it had not been for their online contact? In the case of Geller, her attempted jihad massacres were plotting an attack at the Super Bowl and planned to travel to Syria to join ISIS. How did they get focused on killing all they could at Pamela Geller's Dallas event instead? Was it redirection of the online covert FBI employee? And if it was, why didn't the FBI send agents to thwart the attack?

I have the same kind of questions in the 2009 Dallas arrest of a 19-year old man from Jordan. Would he have advanced to operational if he had not been having encouragement online and eventually received what he thought was explosives for a car bomb from FBI OCE's? We really don't know the answer to that because we don't see what the online communications read like.

To be completely honest with you, I do not trust the ADL Center on Extremism online trackers who were involved in the take down of the Las Vegas attacker. That's because I know that the ADL despises Messianic Jews.

I am from Dallas. In 1997 a local racist, anti-Semite came to the Baruch Hashem Messianic congregation opening fire with many shots into the doors of the packed house for Shabbat service. In response the ADL did nothing but run around to all the news people in Dallas saying, "They aren't really Jews!" So what? Does that mean the terroristic attack did not count somehow? The ADL just didn't want it counted by the news and public as being an anti-Semitic hate crime? Tell that to the perpetrator who went to prison for it.

That incident made me deeply suspicious of how the Messianic target was handled in the Las Vegas arrest.

First off because the FBI did not tell the news media which synagogue in Las Vegas the young man had been arrested for specifically targeting. It took a clever young crime reporter to connected the dots. Three days after Conor Climo's arrest, she approached the Lev Hashem Messianic congregation to confirm they had been the target. The rabbi told she was the only person in the community to contact them outside of the FBI.

Out of all the many fantasized, but developed plans that the Las Vegas man had committed to paper for attacks, like a McDonald's, an LGBTQ bar, police leadership etc., it was only the Messianic synagogue that the FBI Supervisory Agent went to notify as Climo's specific target. The agent told rabbi Hundley that he wanted to make sure he heard it from the FBI and not the media, but the FBI did not tell the media the specific synagogue targeted. It was also not named specifically of all the Las Vegas synagogues in court documents. Why?

Immediately after the arrest a Nevada ADL statement prepared with the Nevada Jewish Federation reads, "ADL requested additional police patrols and a heightened alert status around all shabbat services. This was immediately approved by local police.”

No police patrols were dispatched, however, to the actual specific synagogue that was the terror target.

As soon as the Las Vegas Review Journal published the story naming the Messianic congregation in Las Vegas as the target, the local ADL put out a statement, “...no one in the Jewish community was threatened by the suspect in question."

Of course, now that it has not been picked up widely outside of Las Vegas that the target was the Messianic congregation, the ADL is out using it as an example of anti-Semitic violence perpetrated by White Supremacists in the Israeli newspapers (Violent white supremacy is on the rise – how do we stop it?). The ADL is so politically left, how can they not be suspect in the "security theater" that is going on in FBI and Homeland Security? They continually push the narrative that it is "White Supremacists" who account for the American anti-Semitic attacks when the factual statistics do not support that. In reality, the ADL, like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is politically driven which is undeserving of their past reputations.

The same political forces appear to be the power struggle we see inside our agencies tasked with national security issues. What I found in my research was that the Department of Homeland Security was fit to be tied because of Trump re-directing their domestic terrorism resources to the southern border and illegal immigrants. Many of them were livid and wanted to pursue resources instead on white supremacists. With all the faking of terrorism statistics that Patrick Poole has documented from the Obama era, how can we dismiss the current explosion of preemptive arrests after El Paso as completely above board? I know I don't.

It would not surprise me in the least if the online terrorist trackers who were conversing with Conor Climo on the internet were somehow responsible for the target he focused on.

The ADL stated it was their Center of Extremism internet team who informed the FBI about Climo in June 2019. They also stated they had been tracking Climo online since 2016. The week following the El Paso/Dayton attacks, on August 8th, the FBI searched Climo's house and arrested him.

I cannot say positively that the ADL's COE focused Climo on the Messianic synagogue, but I would sure like to see the communications that went on between them to see the positively did not.

When the online contact meets with the person posting hate speech on Facebook and presents them with explosives, it really makes me wonder if the rants and fantasized plans would have ever gone operational without the encouragement they received from those posing as like-minded individuals instead of informants that they are.

I am all for online tracking of the bad guys, but I am not happy with not knowing if we are being treated to manipulated results. I am not thrilled with either the right or the left doing this.

On the other hand, I'm not thrilled with how they a blind eye was turned to all the tells Nidal Hasan was giving before he attacked Ft Hood either. I'm also not thrilled with the suppressed Islamic terror statistics by labeling that terror attack "workplace violence" in the Fort Hood case and others, or the inflated statistics of White Supremacists either.

On terrorism I think we are caught between the political right and the political left instead of our security agencies just doing their job straight up, honestly no manipulations. That is the only way Americans can be assured national security is make the #1 priority to protect American citizens. It isn't too much to ask.

That's my 2¢ —Donna Diorio
